Same Bro! I love my Maverick figure till the end! Sold most of the older Legends but this baby stands in my detolf till the sun goes out! Maverick for life!
Dude, I 1,000,000% agree with you about your number one choice. I absolutely love that daredevil figure to death. Also, here are some figures. I personally find to be underrated. AOA Sunfire Super Skrull BAF retro card Mysterio retro card Silver Samurai and void wave Black Panther among a few others
I'll give you that, But the Toybiz Warlock is one of the only Toybiz ML that I included in my collection. It still holds strong because there's no other comparisons. It's worth checking out if you have a animated X-men collection etc.
One of the most underrated figures in my opinion is the Amazon 5 pack Ultimate black suit Spider-Man. I never see any praise for that figure but I think it's great. Or maybe it's because I love the original Ultimate universe lol
No BAF had me so hyped as when AoA Colossus was revealed. It was early in my collecting and didn’t understand the timeline from reveal to release so I was checking my stores weekly for MONTHS!!! 😂 once I saw people finding them popping up it was DAILY!!! LOVED this wave, ESPECIALLY the BAF
@Xmanny87 I hope they do that , and I'd love a Team X with Logan , Maverick , Sabertooth , Kestrel , Mastodon , Silver Fox , heck you could even add Romulus too . I'd love that all of them in their old CIA Yellow and Black / Navy Blue uniforms . If Hasbro made a box set or wave like that I'd buy it in a second .
I agree with this list one of my favorite underrated figure is maverick sure the straps on his torso restrict his torso movements but eyy it's still top tier in my opinion
Magik is such an important character for me, so I'm quite found of her ML, what with all the nice painted detail and the face still holds up, even with the better face printing techniques today. The Mk70 is also still a nice fig if you want a basic, no-frills Iron Man that just feels good and sturdy in-hand. And if we're going all the way back to Toybiz, I still have Beast, Magneto and Colossus from when I bought them in the mid-2000s and see no reason to update.
Cool vid, man! One of my faves is Blink. One of the main highlights on my collection. Hope they make more underrated or obscure marvel characters. Paste Pot Pete and Two Gun Kid would be my pick. Oh, and also X-men's Sage.
Another fantastic video Xmanny. Thanks. Your efforts in reviewing the details that you find most desired in an underrated ML was a great topic to explore. As a Marvel action figure collector, I was not surprised with many of your entries as I have them in my displays as well. I've discovered that there really aren't any A-Listers amongst the underrated. Thanks again for your efforts.
I 100% agree with this list. Especially warlock, beetle, deathlok, caliban and maverick. All of those figures made it on my top 10 lists for their respective years and I got called crazy for including some of them. One that you didn't mention that I would have is Titus, I don't care about that character but I liked his body mold a lot and wanted to see it get used more.
That Titus wasn’t as bad as people think it to be. Don’t know why it gets unnecessary hate. It’s mostly comic accurate. I love those kind of cosmic type characters.
@Xmanny87 yeah I'm pretty sure it's mostly just hate because they don't know the character. He was a pretty random choice. I was confident for years that when they made a classic thanos that it was going to be on the Titus body, but i was wrong. Never got used again, unless you count space venom, I guess part of the arms and legs are the same as Titus.
I agree Xmanny, I too prefer the Armored Daredevil over the Retro Spider Man as I had even more fun with the Armored Daredevil as he came with more accessories and was very fun to pose with, plus that metallic shade of red looks awesome, I wish the Silver Centurion Iron Man from 2020 had that shade of red.
Thanks! I know about Leila but Abe wore the mech suit as it was given to him by the C.S.A to get back at Justin Hammer. That’s the version I’m talking about. Sorry if I didnt clarify it specifically but I thought it was obvious. I just used the Toybiz pic for reference as a hint as some people may not know that an armored Beetle figure was made before. If it wasn’t clear enough then my bad.
I'll have to have a really good look at my collection, but what immediately comes to mind are: Retro Daredevil (a solid number 1!) Dark Beast Detroit Steel Silver Samurai Carnage (venompool wave) Thor (Controller wave) Pretty Boy Omega Red (from the 5 pack) Toxin (monster venom buck) The Grey suit Black Widow with the jetpack (love the head sculpt on that)
@Xmanny87 I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that MLs have made 10 great female figs The rest have been extremely average or actually terrible 🙄
I'm currently learning sculpting on figures to help with proportions but I'm eventually going to do a custom TUSK, I've had 2 Caliban figures for the longest time thinking I should wait for HASBRO to make him but that time may pass very soon, a figure a lot of people sleep on and I know I know, but it's Gambit, that is a character that should get the new full articulation treatment but as is his sculpt is great for the standard base body it was, boots and chest sculpt very subtle but goes a long way, I paint and mod mine but seriously as is he can stand with any figure out, same with Sinister which the should use to give us Gidion
Beetle, Deathlok, and Maverick are fantastic figures. Love Beetle. Used Eel electro hands for some dynamic posing. I have that X-Force mini gun to Classified Road Pig. It suits him. AoA Kitty and Colossus are great together. AoA figures in general are my guilty pleasure. Scott isn’t great but the rest are. I really want Alex, Redone Holocaust, and Gambit. Those characters would round out the AoA. I’d take Storm, Sinister, Warren, and Abyss too. Anyway AoA a’good. Maverick makes me want the tactical suit spy Logan. They’d pair up well. 90s looks have their charm. Still waiting for my Atlas and Techno to round out my T-Bolts. Hey Hasbro I’m okay with some more T-Bolts. I’m also kind of geeked up about the MCU version. Curious if they get Zemo in there somehow. I know he was dealt with in Sam & Bucky show. I’m just hoping as comic fan he’s not ignored in film. Anyway. Good list. I’d add Super Skrull in that list as he had the interchangeable pieces for the Fantastic Four power set. Plus they kind of used it okay in the two pack.
In my opinion that storm from the two pack is the best storm figure, and the best example of how to do an action figure right. The only thing that holds that storm back is the lack of abb crunch that female legends tend to all have.
I hope Hasbro makes May day Parker again and Jessica drew of the ultimate universe I also hope they make a comic what if based wave I also hope they do the characters that appear in earth x including the team x 51 formed
Dude that's my favorite Daredevil action figure I bought two of them I got one fighting night thrasher and my main display and the one one Daredevil is still both my night dresses are out
04:50 the FFF one has actually the accurate size ball and chain. It's not a wrecking ball but a convict ball and chain. Of those that weight down prisoners
Yo xmanny i thought of a perfect venom baf wave so first up you have venom punisher from what if then another symbiote character from what if will be cosmic carnage then you have that version of mayday parker who has the symbiote toxin either bret watters or Patrick mulligan silence hybrid and for the baf it will be sleeper
My favorite is the newest one. It's just a nice head sculpt and body mold without pins. I like the black. It's actually kind of a super-dark gray or a 90% black matte . The screaming head that it comes with is terrible though. The sculpt was poorly executed. The anatomy of the mouth and teeth are wrong, and the chin is way oversized on it, creating a totally goofy look that isn't good. The other head sculpt though does make up for it. I'd like the motorcycle Punisher better if his hairline wasn't so recessed. Probably following the art from a storyline, but I don't dig that. Makes him look too old--or like an Alex Ross aged character. lol
Is Psycho Man considered underrated? That's been one of my favorites since release and I could not care less about that character. They just nailed the rad Kirby-ness of him.
The Toy Biz MODOK is more Comic Book looking. It does Not have size but the details on the paint much better than the Hasbor. Hasbor MODOK is more cartoon looking. It just does not have a menacing look to it that the Toy Biz one has.
I disagree but it’s all good. Toybiz went overkill with the dry brushing on their figure which is an eye sore for me. Yeah, Hasbro’s version may look cartoony but I don’t take that as a bad thing as it reminds me of the Iron Man animated series. I’d rather have it look like that than a pile of dirt like Toybiz. And I love Toybiz but I know they always over did it with the dry brushing. You have to use that paint wisely. Not go overboard.
I love that Maverick figure. One of the coolest dudes from Wolverine's past characters.
That Trading card video was so good. I will add that i think characters like Sandman and Absorbing Man are perfect for the deluxe treatment.
They definitely are
"I'm not blinded by nostalgia..." *Speaks passionately about TUSK*
Modok was double produced during Covid, like the FF retro line. It’s why he’s stayed so cheap. Love that fig.
Yeah I figured. But he still deserves more love.
@ Totally
Maverick and EXTREME 90s DD?! Hell yeah dude.👏👏👏👏👏
Same Bro! I love my Maverick figure till the end! Sold most of the older Legends but this baby stands in my detolf till the sun goes out! Maverick for life!
Hell yeah! Maverick is elite!
I agree with you, it's a good list of figures which needs more appreciation.
Deathlok and Maverick are amazing! Love those two.
Those are all great choices, I agree with you! I should’ve added Silver Samurai on the list.
I'll give you that, But the Toybiz Warlock is one of the only Toybiz ML that I included in my collection. It still holds strong because there's no other comparisons. It's worth checking out if you have a animated X-men collection etc.

Maverick is a TOP TIER Marvel Legends sculpt in my opinion😎 Great video Xmanny87!
The gold on him looks cheap which makes him look like a dollar toy. It's a wasted sculpt and figure
Totally agree! One of the best of 2020.
Yes!!! Maverick 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
What an interesting 👏 video 👍
Thanks, I appreciate it 😎
@Xmanny87 Anytime 😊

That’s one of the best BAFs ever. The poseability on him is so great! 😁
I'm with you on that Maverick figure .
I love the weapon X stuff from Marvel and Maverick needs more love .
Absolutely! Are you down for a blue version too, like I am?
@Xmanny87
I hope they do that , and I'd love a Team X with Logan , Maverick , Sabertooth , Kestrel , Mastodon , Silver Fox , heck you could even add Romulus too .

Thanks man! Glad you liked the video.

Glad you enjoyed it. It’s nice to look at some of these under the radar figures every now and then.
Great picks! Couldn’t agree more. Maverick has always been a favourite in my house
One of my favorites was that Demolition Man
I 100% agree with this list. Especially warlock, beetle, deathlok, caliban and maverick. All of those figures made it on my top 10 lists for their respective years and I got called crazy for including some of them.

Yeah, when they use metallic red it’s so damn beautiful. Wished they use it more.
Good list 🔥
For me there is Sunfire(Warlock baf), Classic Prowler 2018 (Lizard baf ) and the Bulldozer of 2015
Love it! Just one correction, mech-armored Beetle (mark 4) is more associated with Leila Davis, not Abner Jenkins. It was a girl in the suit.
I really hope we get more Phalanx characters in ML form. 90's Douglock and Harvest would be sweet! A Phalanx army builder would be cool too.
I'll have to have a really good look at my collection, but what immediately comes to mind are:
Retro Daredevil (a solid number 1!)
Dark Beast
Detroit Steel
Silver Samurai
Carnage (venompool wave)
Thor (Controller wave)
Pretty Boy
Omega Red (from the 5 pack)
Toxin (monster venom buck)
The Grey suit Black Widow with the jetpack (love the head sculpt on that)
Blink is a great fig She comes with accessories which feels like a bygone era
She’s one of my favorite female figures ever
@Xmanny87 I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that MLs have made 10 great female figs The rest have been extremely average or actually terrible 🙄
Fantasic video! Made me want to go into the bins and pull some figures out!!!!
Let’s go! Break them out for some fun play and display.
Beetle colors on point 👏
I know you love purple and green like your girl She-Hulk lol
@@Xmanny87 lol hellll yeah

As long as they give all the female spider type characters the new articulation system then I’m down. They need it for their super agility.
Wicked video man. Thanks. Some of these are from before my time collecting so this is awesome
I love talking about some of these older figures. Glad this video was right up your alley.
I like the What If Captain Carter
That is another good one that is underrated
Dude that's my favorite Daredevil action figure I bought two of them I got one fighting night thrasher and my main display and the one one Daredevil is still both my night dresses are out
Im a Maverick fan and they did comic accuracy here. But see, Im a Pre-2005 comic collector since I lost all my comics in Hurricane Katrina.
04:50 the FFF one has actually the accurate size ball and chain. It's not a wrecking ball but a convict ball and chain. Of those that weight down prisoners
True true. I like the bigger sized one. Makes him look stronger.
I'm only on Iron Monger on your list but I hope you have Detroit Steel on this list!
I hope Hasbro and Marvel launch a reissue of Dark Hawk!
Caliban buck for the animated series style Xmen. Theres a ton of customs of it out there and its amazing
I’d love to see it reused for an X-Men animated series Sabretooth since he was hulking huge lol
I put a Domino head on a Lilith's body and it came out good.

Modok is one of the greatest legends of all time. That’s when hasbro was actually trying.
I have a custom Cyber figure used from A Caliban figure.
When Hasbro puts in effort they make awesome figures. It’s just so disappointing that 90% of the time they’re phoning it in.
Is Psycho Man considered underrated? That's been one of my favorites since release and I could not care less about that character. They just nailed the rad Kirby-ness of him.

Baf Warlock🔥
It’s so beautiful!
Do I have too many Marvel Legends? I have almost all of these, and almost none of them are on the front of the shelf. 😂
Daredevil, I agree
Right? So damn cool
@@Xmanny87 Yesssssss it is !
Without Rugal, theres no way dude beat that guy.
Hell yeah
Hell yeah!
We need a new exorbitant man
Damn forgot about tusk
This is the list!
Brother, much love, no hate, love your work, but this vid sounds like recorded inside a porta potty - audio wise 100% 😅
That hot take is huge hot take
Apocalypse is the original base for Caliban isn’t he?
Nope. Only the arms were reused from Apocalypse. Caliban introduced an all new torso and legs as a new blank base brute body.
Night thrasher not night dresses
Spoiler: Deontay Wilder cameo 😂
🤫 lol
Till this day!!! I'm a huge fan of Maverick I have three action figures brother Manny XDanny77
