People usually put pallets apart and quickly build something really hideous thinking how great they are. Hahaha. Now this build that's completely different matter. It looks great almost like done from some decent wood. Excellent work!
You can certainly take trash and turn it into treasure. This table has all the quality and look of fine European furniture. Thanks for sharing this video and remember Texas is watching.
As much as I hate working with pallet wood, it's hard to find those cool bluish grey hues in wood without doing your own stains or dyes. Also, props for doing some decent work without a million dollars worth of tools.
I enjoyed watching this table come together. Loved the backdrop scenery and chickens. The table legs didn't come together quickly mentally until I saw how you used opposite but counter balancing lengths. Do you have plans for this or just watch and follow.
A question. At 2:20 mins you glue those boards and secure them with large clamps, so by lining up the boards at just one end would that mean a little less waste as you merely sand the level edge smooth and trim of the bad opposite side so only one cut.
If your to cut those pallet slats off, would you not have then slightly longer if you only cut down both sides of the centre skid and gently pry of the slats with a crow bar.
Pretty nice looking, but I've heard it's not a great idea to completely enclose a panel like that--leaves no room for expansion, and eventually the miter joints will be pushed apart.
Dont't glue a piece onto the end grain side of a wide panel as you do at 3.52. It's a big no no in woodworking, instead you need to give the panel room to change width with humidity changes.
Some good ideas on your table top with the exception of two things that I noticed right off. Number one you never used the pallets that have the blue paint period that is methyl bromide and if you sand it and cut it like you did the Dust can lock your lungs up. Number two you never under any circumstances use a table saw without a push stick. You are asking for an accident to happen

The blue wood is beedle kill in pine. The beedle lays it's eggs and this the blue tint.

The ends are full of holes so the center is better wood

Muito bom parabéns👏👏👏
Muito bom
what type of sander are you using, if you don't mind my asking, it's fantastic
It’s just a 4-1/2” angle grinder with a sanding pad on it.
😊👍🏻👍🏻
What did you spray on top at the end?

Bullshit, what this guy did is perfectly acceptable in woodwork and has been done this way for all history. You talk utter crap
