Have always wanted to try one of these. We do ocean properties in the north east, and ofcourse everything has to be bagged. We've got a few walker model T's with the hopper/ and an exmark navigator. Both great machines, but have never cut with anything bigger than 48"
random question, you got any trick of the trade method emptying grass from walker hoppers in to truck bed? We use trash barrels and it's so inefficient would love one of those high dumps or the trucks with the hydraulic box you can dump in to and them it dumps in the truck for ya. Not sure if one of those big grass totes would be nice to dump a manageable amount right in to and throw in the truck. Moral of the story trash barrels add a lot of down time through the year.@@JsCrazyCutzLLC.
I have a walker model b, it is hands down one of the best mowers for hills I have ever used, with 6 points of contact on the ground, it’s like a spider on a slope. If you’re going to buy a walker, I would recommend buying the demo models in late July/August, it’s much cheaper, and you get to avoid that initial depreciation hit when you pull it out of the dealership new.
Love my B27i. The reason you keep one hand on the speed control and turning levers is so you can slow down when you know theres bumpy ground. Some people get the hang of the Walker quick and others take a bit to figure it out.
They are interesting mowers. I could only see myself using them if I was bagging a lot. I think that is probably where they shine. I would have trouble with them controls as well.
If money wasn't object , I would have a 48" with the mulching deck and another 48" with the bagging application. They really do have the perfect cut and finish by far. Thanks for checking out the video 👊
We haven't forgotten about y'all prize ! It's been crazy busy and Christina needs at least a few hours set aside to bake the goodies and then we'll send it out😊👍
Nice! I love the double fisting the controls😂 the drive system does take some getting used to but once you get it down they are extremely nimble mowers. The mulching decks are awesome…. That rear discharge (&any rear discharge) can go pound sand in my humble opinion.
That's amazing that you have dealers in the states that will drop off and give you a mower to demo. That is unheard of in my area in Canada. I can't even get a free hat after spending over $100K over the years at my John Deere dealer. Ok, I am done venting lol I always wanted to try out a Walker. I won't spend over $30K just to try one out. Looks like you guys are getting the hang of it. That 64 is a beast! To me the Walker seems awards how you sit and control the machine. I think my back would be sore too. I like the rear discharge. I think if you have been operating a zero turn for many years it would be hard to switch to this. Great video, thanks for sharing!
You should make a road trip to hang with Scott at Red Rock Maintenance! He's got all kind of Walkers you can play with. I really loved the little B27I with that 48" deck. It really does have a perfect cut😉👍
Best cut quality hands down is Walker. Best bang for your buck is exmark. After walker and exmark i would say scag and wright round out top mower brands.
I bouggt a walker mb20ghs48 model back in 2010. Should have kept that mower ibsteas if trafung it in 2012 on a older huge exmark zero turn mower. Paid 10,500.00 for that walker mowe4.
reminds me of a deines marty j mower as far as the cut quality and hillside holding goes. They are overpriced but so is all the commercial mowers these days.
Walker has interchangeable decks, you can get mulching and side discharge as well as bagging decks if the machine is compatible. They also make multi decks that can collect and discharge, as well as mulching kits for certain side discharge decks.
Would u please let me know which direction it throw the grass? I don't see any openings by the side of Mowing deck so is it throw the grass straight under to the back? I am also interested in Walker but couldn't decide if I want the grass collecter or not
The smaller mower ( B27i 48") has a mulching deck and it does an amazing job making grass disappear. The larger mower on this video is a rear discharging deck.
No, unfortunately, most of our yards have a lot of ditches and have really rough terrain. We couldn't justify paying that much for a mower that we would only use on really nice yards. Don't get me wrong, I love that B27 I and I'd love to have one someday but, it's not in the cards for us now.
You never run a walker with two hands on the levers yall lose control fast, for the price of a walker i would expext to buy two cub cadets etc, they are way over priced

Definitely a fine machine 👌

Definitely a learning curve with them controls. I drove one at the lawn and landscape event and you both did better than me on it.
Yes, they are a bit different 😉

I think your right😉when I do buy one, I'll definitely go with a demo for sure! Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
@@JsCrazyCutzLLC you’re gonna love it
I like the small one. Front decks need fairly flat yards to run them. I hope you find the mower that works best for y'all. Have a good week! See ya!
I like the little one too! Maybe one day we will add it to our fleet. Thanks for stopping by John👍

@@JsCrazyCutzLLC hello
Drove one of those once and the controls would definitely take some getting use to.
Yes ! The controls are very different but, an awesome machine😉thanks for watching 👍

I like the rear discharge no-one can blame a broke window on you
Yep! It wasn't me ,said the lawn guy😉👍thanks for watching

@@JsCrazyCutzLLC I have used one alot but after one day of use i used two fingers on one hand to turn.
I feel bad for when you have to work on it
You’ll have some fun 😂
Yeah, I bet 😉☝️We decided to wait on purchasing a Walker for now! Fantastic mower though 👍

NICE im looking at buying a walker for next year !
That's awesome 👍
Quite sure I would've taken that pole out! Looks like it would take some practice.
Yeah, I got lucky there😮 Lol

I agree 💯%
U had me concerned. Glad u came to your senses😂
I knew you would say that Lol🤣
Nice mower but for some reason I have never really looked at Walker!
Nothing beats the cut quality on Walkers man😉

@@JsCrazyCutzLLC Old company and diffrent machine than the walker but they are similar in cut and hillside and speed actually.

Yes they are😉👍
Those Walkers are pricey nice video yall
Yeah, they don't compete on price that's for sure but, I'd love that B27I one day😉thanks for watching and commenting Rob👊
Should try a Dixie Chopper
I drove one at the GIE a couple years ago! Seems like a nice mower🤔Do they offer ea 52" with efi ?
So would you call that a strictly mulching mower?
Walker has interchangeable decks, you can get mulching and side discharge as well as bagging decks if the machine is compatible. They also make multi decks that can collect and discharge, as well as mulching kits for certain side discharge decks.

Overpriced and to long.
They are but, it's a fantastic mower💯👍
Gotta let the machine make the line
