Motorcycling should be fun. As far as sportbikes for the road go, supersports (like the 636) and maxisports (like GSXR750 and 959) are hands down the most fun you can have with your pants on. Superbikes often frustrate because it is prohibitive to access their performance on the road. I rode superbikes for 20 years until I tried a 750. My litre bike is now relegated to track duties. Don't listen to your ego, try a supersport or maxisport and thrash yourself to happiness! :-)

The zx6r just feels super smooth for me. Running up high in rpms sounds amazing, overall the entire bike sounds amazing like you can't beat the sound. The acceleration is phenomenal and top speed is more than you need to be honest. Where I ride having a 750 and up is just not possoble because you have nowhere to ride it and hold the throttle open so 600-650 is all you see experienced riders with in my area.
I’m so confused on why ppl keep saying “I wonder if the 600 has enough usable power”.... like wtf??? These bike have crazy power...... like how much power do u need? U cant even use most of that power without getting trouble .....ppl are just trying to kill themselves now a days
It depends , i think they good all around . Leader bikes are better performance wise , how ever they are for performance it depnds on what you want . Also most guys on leader bikes have more of them for ego and cant really perform at the highest level that this bike are made for . Great content
I mostly ride litre bikes but recently road the Kaw 600 round a track. It was actually great fun (and cheaper on tyres 👍🏼). More likely a smarter choice for the real world 🤔

The new 636 is brilliant. It's quick and smooth but not crazy fast like a literbike. its manageable, rather than brutal and scary. I enjoy brutal and scary, but I APPRECIATE quick, agile and smooth. If I would improve one thing on my 636 it would be the quickshifter. it's shit. Only on upshifts and it's notchy, lurchy and laggy... My 2020 Street RS is sublime, and light years ahead of the Kawi unit. But overall I love the bike. Fast enough. Smooth. Composed and sexy AF. My Street RS is the faster bike, but no wind protection and that matters on longer tracks...
@@PetroHead Yeah, I was just at the 140mph range and it was NOT pleasant on track... Better than my Monster 1200S was, but it still sucked. Now, coming off of turns and stuff, I would walk away from R6's and 636's with ease... The acceleration was more like a 750... Up to 110mph or so, no issues keeping ahead of 600's.... After that, aero really became a factor and then the 600's would claw their way back and by 130mph they were starting to pull ahead... Gonna have my 636 out on track on the 17th, I will post up videos on my channel, can't wait to see how it does. I may also take my Street Cup out for a session or two, just for the hell of it.
Honda releasing there new cbr600rr august 21st. Looks pretty good. Hopefully they add more power but idk if they gonna. Keepin the same engine as last 2 gens i believe but not 100%
Yeah they added 18 lbs to it and less torque. I don’t think there gonna sell it in the states. Idk why they would do that. Cbr sells like crazy in states they could’ve approached passing emissions in a different way and sold it here in states and made bank. Even if the price was raised to 12999 or so. Should’ve had hp and torque gain and with that tft screen they put on and people that love 600 class would’ve ate that up. Honda makes some crazy decisions. I always wanna get a Honda motorcycle and yet somehow I always go Kawasaki lol

@@PetroHead want to preface I am a new rider. 1 yr experience. And i couldn't really explore 10k+ rpm at kawasaki demo day. That is prob the reason they put the zx6r right behind the lead bike. 🤣

I have a 2019 ZX6 as a daily rider. It's a fantastic bike, plenty of torque and lots of power on tap when you get above 8k RPM.

Yea I tracked my Striple recently and doing 140 mph isn’t fun.

It will be same as R6 HP but the weight will be a big factor.. R6 wet is 419.
