These two videos, including the waterproof bedsheet tarp video, are likely one of the most useful things I have come across for DIY outdoor gear. Do you think 550 paracords work for the cordage or would it need to be something stronger? Thanks!
Thank you very much for this video! It helped me a lot because I was thinking about how to make my own hammock and I had no idea how to connect the rope with the sheet ☺️👌 Your knot came in handy and now I have a ready hammock that I can take anywhere in my backpack, I just tighten the rope on the tree, wrapping it around and winding it through once or twice loop and I can relax 👌 Best regards from Poland!!☺️

Tie it up with cow hitches and timber hitches. MUCH stronger and simpler. Just gather an end and secure it with the simple birdshead. Then tie it to a tree with a simple timber hitch. Super easy!
The squirrels have chewed up my nice hammock!! Thanks for this wonderful timely video!

Does this work for heavier people like for 300 lbs or less?
I'm 200 lbs and it works for me. It's really dependent on the rope you use to tie it up with
what size of rope did you use?
Put a strop or a thick cloth round the trunk so that the cord doesn't slice the bark and kill the tree!
Awesome video
Thank you
What size tarp did you use?
I used a king size bed sheet that I had waterproofed for a video
Thank you sir
Great 👍
Thanks!
