My home town from 64 to 81. My dad was the police surgeon for all those years and my next door neighbor was police auxiliary, they are both in the book written about Lincoln Park . Life was good growing up there.

I marched in many of those parades in Lincoln Park, but about ten years earlier when I was in the St. Joseph School Fife & Drum Corps. Yup....we really had a fife & drum corps in LIncoln Park for a while! I think I recognize some of those older fire trucks, too.

I remember around the time of the 200th anniversary in 1976 the fife and drum band was all the rage. St Josephs school as well. Moe's candy store for monster models and Sea And Ski for bike/skateboard parts. Kelly's Army Navy across from the soon to be built grocery store strip mall by the rail road station. Stagers auto body for looking at the junk cars from the 50's and 60's. Hair cuts across the street from the old revolutionary stage coach house. Leonards Drug store and Shop Rite too. Visited the town in 2010 the Lincoln Park Luncheonette (Moe's) had just closed and a brand new Dunkin Donuts had just opened.

I was there. I went to chapel hill school. Dr. Iulo was my baseball coach. Those tennis courts used to be the pond. Officer wild saved my life when i smashed in my skull. Good times.

With gas prices over a dollar, this must be more like 1980-81.

Steve the barber cut our hair and we swam at the ditch or the lincoln park swim club that the wards owned.
