What an interesting barge, I've heard the name before but never really looked into them, be interesting to see how this stacks up against a Toyota Century which were originally sold by invitation only, I definitely think I prefer the slightly more retro styling of the Toyota (but I'm a Toyota fanboy, admittedly) but there are some defininite similarities there.
Also, has it always said "Now in colour" on your splash screen? If so I've only just noticed it, would be funny if you changed that every now and again like the titles on Futurama

I bought it because its such a cool car and so different. Not many in the UK. MPG is pretty good. around 20+ around town but on a run about 30. Not bad for the engine size and luxury. Its been faultless for me over the last 2 years but now looking to sell it.

It's not meant to be a "driver's" car. You can always tell a chauffeur driven ride because all the cool stuff ends up in the back seat - that's why I'll never consider a Maybach. That said, you can easily configure something like a M760 and forego the back seat options and get a more traditional, albeit sporty, 5 seat sedan. And a tuned 7 series will open up the driver's options even more.
Keep in mind as well that in Japan this doesn't really compete with Lexus or Infiniti. The President and Toyota Century have a different target buyer in mind.

For people interested, although Honda didn't have anything equivalent (they have Legend (now JDM Acura RL) - which was also Rover 800, heavily influenced by British design - but not as big nor high-end as Cima or President), Mitsubishi indeed had something similar called Dignity (based on Mitsubishi Proudia), which was directly aimed at the President. Like the Nissan President and the Toyota Century, the Dignity is also used by Royals, officials and bosses of big cooperation, tho was not very successful (only 59 made). Funny enough that the 2nd gen Dignity (also used by the Royals), also called Mitsubishi Proudia, lived in the form of rebadged Nissan Fuga/Cima/Infinity M/Infinity Q70 in Japan, tho only 120 were sold from 2012 to 2016 and 552 for Proudia. While few might have heard of Proudia (only 1228 made), many have heard of Hyundai Equus (gen 1), which is was a huge success in South Korea and was basically, Mitsubish Proudia produced by Hyundai. Given it was used as the presidential car in Korea (later become Genesis), I would consider it as a mission accomplished. Guess this also explains why some felt the President looked like Kia Opirus (related to Hyundai Equus, tho I don't find them similar) in the comment.
