Fantastic......... I would seriously urge guitarists who wish to learn this style of guitar, to purchase Rainer's instructional videos. I have a number to learn over the winter months.....
Ralph McTell does a lovely, lively variant of this on his first LP 'Eight Frames A Second'. It is mistakenly called 'Blind Blake's Rag'. That recording was what first turned me on to ragtime guitar. I remember thinking, "If I can just learn that, I'll have it made!" I did . . . but I didn't!
I've watched several of your videos. You are an amazing musician! Thank you for sharing your talent! You are an inspiration for anyone who has picked up a guitar!
Thank you Alexander and greetings back at you! I teach this song on my homespun video. www.homespun.com/shop/product/jewels-of-acoustic-blues-guitar-2/
Love this type of "country" blues but the whole idea of fingerpicking is too daunting for this old flat picker. Thanks for sharing...wish we were neighbors!
Thank you very much Rick. I bet we would have some fun playing songs and tunes in mixed styles! Had a try on flatpicking myself but I found it pretty difficult! Greetings from Germany :-)
It's a very nice performance. It's soothing. I wanted to listen to it over and over again.
Sweet guitar on this great old blues.
