After our monthlong adventure on the beautiful island of Bohol, the Locale Lurkers hit a pit stop in Cebu before their next adventure to the City of Smiles - Bacolod City.
In this video, we document our ferry boat ride via FastCat from the Port of Toledo (in Toledo City) to the Port of San Carlos (in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental).
Things to prepare and steps to securing a ferry boat ticket:
1. Photocopy of your vehicle OR/CR and your driver’s license
2. Before securing your ferry boat ticket, get your documents stamped at the Coast Guard office (take the road behind Jolibee)
3. Proceed to the FastCat ticketing office (for rates and schedule: www.fastcat.com.ph/rates/#151...)
4. Proceed to pay for terminal fee (Php 15/head)
5. Proceed to pay for the CPA fee (around Php 128 or depending upon the vehicle type)
Yay! You're all set! Wait for boarding.

matanong ko lang po anong oras po kayo dumating sa port at anong oras po schedule nyo? mas okay po ba 1hour before bago ang sched ng barko or mas early?thanks po planning to have a vacation with family on may 😊

We arrived in the Port of Toledo around 1030am and luckily we were still able to book for their 11am trip. If it's not a holiday or a weekend, 30mins prior to the trip schedule should be fine but to be safe, just be there an hour before the scheduled trip. You still need to secure travel papers, get the Coast Giard to sign them and pay all applicable fees. Wishing you a safe and enjoyable trip for your family.
