Sadly some women have a lot of internalized misogyny so even when a man is doing wrong they’ll try to blame the wife/girlfriend as if the man is a child who doesn’t understand. These women are often seeking male validation and here it could be from the cheater, from the producer(s) or male audience that she’s “different”. Even if she does “everything right” with the thin line women are expected to walk in society to be deemed a “good woman” aka the speech in the Barbie movie about womanhood. Women with internalized misogyny who will excuse men’s actions and refuse to hold them accountable while blaming women will often have a train wreck of a man who shows it in public/or behind closed doors.

I think that’s the producer’s doing, not Judge Starr. This is her job. She gets some say in it, but they are footing the bill, so they have a say so. This is why Judge Lynn left. She said she was too old and tired to be dealing with all of that foolishness and the show was changing. She said it was time for her to go.

Plus, marriage is for better or for worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and in health… The problem is people don’t know HOW TO give their spouses GRACE. Generally, the need and responsibility meter changes… there is no 50/50 in marriage. If you have a spouse that has cancer, it may look like 89/11; HOWEVER, just like in Spades, both parties may have to go board. Like 30/30…. Where’s the rest of the 40%??? Who’s got the 40%???? GRACE should…. If he working double shifts 16 hrs a day and she dealing with postpartum depression, 2 kids under 3 and one is autistic EVERYDAY!!? You’ve got to have GRACE for each other until you all can get some help… just don’t get pregnant again…

If she's going to forgive him, then she can't bring up the past every time they have a disagreement. If he wants to save this marriage, then he's going to need to refrain from running to other women when things get tough between him and his wife.
Since they have chosen to stay together and go to counseling, I am rooting for them. Honesty does not absolve cheating, but it is a step in the right direction to receive help and change behaviors.
