As a girly who grew up on the Angel Tree list, I appreciate Stefan opening up about his childhood holiday experiences. It’s nice to know there is someone else out there I can relate to. Not many people open up about experiences like that.

Every year growing up until around 5th grade, my family deeply appreciated and depended on donations and kind families taking our photos off of Christmas trees (our mall had trees with photos and descriptions for families in need) and giving to our family. I can only imagine how happy your guys’ family will be receiving your gifts and just the thoughtfulness and consideration! You guys are doing something so so wonderful and it is a real need! I’ve worn contacts since I was 9 (now 24) and it does take time to get used to them, but also trying different kinds/brands to find the right fit for you helps too. I now use biweekly acuvue oasys contacts and they are by far my favorite, but i definitely hopped around different brands before landing on these.

@WhitneySimmons Same acuvue oasys bi-weekly are my favorite! My eyes just can't stand anything else. But also I'm a dry girly too. Down to my eyes! So, I still need contact rewetting drops. Systane makes great ones. Those should help a ton.
@@WhitneySimmons agree! I tried using dailies and they made my eyes so dry, but use acuvue oasys monthly and it's so much better!
Agreed! You definitely have to try different lenses. Your optometrist can give you a bunch of samples. I went through 4 brands and they all bothered my eyes and made them so red. Then I found Biofinity and I've never looked back!
This is how I felt when I tried to switch to a different brand, I could not keep them in for more than a few hours. I love the Infuse daily’s, even wearing these for a few years and they’re so comfortable

Some of my FAVORITE Christmas memories were of people coming to my house to bless my family of 5 kids and a single mother with gifts. We truly would not have had Christmas growing up without the Angel Tree program that was in my local town in St. George Utah. It is sooo so special to me and we now get to participate in those Angel Tree donations and it makes my heart soar. Your participation will live in her/her mom’s hearts forever!!!

what helps me with my contacts staying comfortable is before plopping them into my eye i drop some of the liquid they're in onto the lens. provides so much extra moisture so that they stay comfortable longer!

We felt so special that someone was kind enough to get gifts for us. It meant so much to us. I just started wearing contacts last Feb so new to me as well, I noticed the same thing about them hurting my eyes but I can tell you it does get better with time, I found them easier to wear now 😊 if I do ever feel irritated or dry eyes I just take the contact solution and put it in my eye like eye drops and that seems to help so much 😍 love you

Happens to me too w contacts! I think it means that they're drying out. So eyedrops (specifically for contacts) like other people are saying helps. And sometimes a little refresh by taking them out and cleaning them again w contact solution.
