You're definitely right about that! 🤣I wrestle with balancing letting out too much and the "auto-cut blade" leaving short pieces laying around my yard or I go the other way and have it so short sometimes I need to stop and remove the "speed-reel" and rethread the string because it pulled back up into the bump-head 😆Another challenge is trying to maintain the proper rotational speed so I'm constantly adjusting the finger-throttle...I tend to spin it slower where I'm likely to hit the house siding or the aluminum yard fence...both tend to get damaged when I'm spinning that line super-fast and strong but no damage when I'm taking it easy on that switch...I get "rusty" when I first use it every season until I get my "swing back" and keep the line length and rotational speed mostly-optimized for grass length and conditions. I agree any strap would help…this bungee linkage does seem to provide a slight extra flexibility and shock absorption, through. Shirt colors can be selected when ordering. I picked a slight gray color. TH-cam is aligned with a print-on-demand provider so no inventory investment. Hey, I see you have new channel icon…I like it! 👍

I'm sorry your's broke with so little usage. I always encourage consumers contacting company's to notify them of poor product experiences especially one's like this that market their "unique design" among a sea of competitive, less costly alternatives.
