- Unemployment claims just spike to the highest level that we have seen in a year. At the same time wage growth has been slowing down more than expected, suggesting that you already make enough money at least according to the government and the FED. Just another sign of the robust economy ;)

The government doesn’t count people who have run out of unemployment benefits.
Or the ones that don’t apply for unemployment. Not everyone is eligible.
They don't count people who stopped looking for work.

@@sandblast5636 he's a realist. I love how you cultists think being called a liberal is bad lol!
I lean fiscally conservative. I don't identify with a party but if I did it would be libertarian. @sndblast
@@hannw7Being liberal is just fine but if you're American and lining yourself up with a party which is now the beginning of the Communist party is not.
Wait till 2035-!!!😳.
@ 10:30 The backdrop reminds me of Planet of the Apes 1960s movie and is a tell tale sign of things to come.
Thank you.
I try my very best to ONLY shop sales whenever I HAVE to buy anything!
Get ready to lose everything. The 2008 financial crisis will look like children’s play compared to what’s coming.
Its possible!
I was included in a layoff from a company that has not had layoffs since the 70's. I have applied for over 100 jobs in the last 3 months. So far, I'm still unemployed.
I’m honestly thinking about living in the woods I really wanna get out this system
Dude, my life goal is to buy a mobile home and put it on some land somewhere and tell the world to F off!
@@jayson657that is my goal
@@jayson657 Mobile home is nothing. You still need water and still need septic. 🤨

The Unemployment system is so messed up! My best friend in La, is really going through it! She got laid off last September, but since they pay on the tax calendar (April through March), she said she is only gonna get paid for four months. New way of paying? I don’t know, but she was in meltdown mode yesterday, due to just learning this. So confusing and disheartening!
Mass layoffs continue to be announced, buy out offers, corporate restructuring..
Shit just keeps getting worse.
we all gotta duck when it hits the fan
Great natural AIR CONDITIONING! enjoy it! you will not have that in Florida
Michael, it's an election year, and, not a normal one.
Politicians will claim that they can fix it. That's what they do, make promises.
Election years do not get a pass. We have gone into 3 recessions during election years. It is not common but it does happen. IMHO we went into a recession last year 2023.
I live on the interest on my savings!
The higher the better.

How is the govt going to repay 35 trillion in debt? Shouldn't someone have an idea instead of just letting it grow?
They’re not paying it back
@@albundy7623 Must be nice?
They are planning on spending more with no end in sight,so long as the printing presses keep humming.

Well, every computer has a delete key. Maybe they should use it
stop printing money!!!!
Its almost like messing with markets and the economy to keep it going doesn't help in the long term only the short term. Honestly it is kinda like putting a bandaid over an infected wound then pretending it's fine.
Well, you must be an old soul because in my 80s I feel as you feel. I’m eating the popcorn and watching fascinated as I live on $34,000 a year, very comfortably.
It is a lot easier when your house is paid off and you have a pension and social security rolling in every month.
Love the walk & talk Michael!❤ Hope your foot is improving. Keep up the awesome job of keeping us sane!
Everything is an illusion!
Correct
What about your sense of certainty about illusions? Is that illusory?
Glad we're in our forever home and never buying or selling again. What a shit show.
Beautiful beach. Thank you Michael
Good Info Thank You Michael.

Kicking the can down to road… till when? It will be a mess for the new President, doesn’t matter who it will be.
"I'm just sitting here with the pop corn." Soon popcorn will be all we can afford to eat ...
i used to buy organic popcorn $3.50, now it is $7.00
7:24 That looks like Tennessee valley. My wife and I used to snog in that cove before we moved away from California.
THE FED WILL NOT CUT RATES. At the beginning of the year, the markets were talking about 4 rate cuts. We are not getting ANY rate cuts this year. Thats just my opinion.
I HOPE you are RIGHT! I love my 5% risk free return!
@Thomas-to5dr im in Gold and Silver, its the best play, history is on our side. There will have to be a revaluation of silver especially, its too undervalued
Agree. Powell is teasing rate cuts to manipulate the market. I don't see any cuts this year at all. Also, my stock porfolio jumped up $20K in the last two weeks. Coincidence? I think not.
Off topic but I had a baby 9 weeks ago and she absolutely loves when I watch your videos. It's almost like we are taking a walk, so thanks from HOT HOT PHOENIX AZ!!!
We are in a recession now
