I always thought the Generation bits were kinda weird. I get that it's supposed to represent the coming of humanity/Dragoons, but I thought there was a boss fight for each Generation, but then some are skipped and it feels..awkward
I know what you mean. I thought it was sortof similar to the story of genesis from the bible where I thought the "generations" were similar to "days" from the bible. For example, the "sixth generation" showed a coming of mankind and civilization similar to how the "sixth day" brought the day of mankind. I just somehow saw a parallel between these.
my cousin and I used to use gameshark to make dart lvl 100 (but actually made him lvl 1) so he was always KOd. we used to laugh hysterically at the 5th generation putting the sunbeam on his KOd self
This was the first time I ever cried at an ending. YES I ACTUALLY CRIED AT THIS ENDING. My favorite RPG of all time, and my second favorite game of all time.
I swear it took me four hours to beat this boss. Even without dying. I think I took three breaks bc it was so long. I know there were some things that I missed in the game that would have made me stronger but I couldn't go back to get them so that's probably why it took me so long. Just strong enough to not die but not strong enough to defeat him quickly.
Well, I had to try at least 10 times the first time I finished the game 😂 but after playing the whole game again and knowing everything, it was a peace of cake
For those of you in these comments who do not know, and cannot access the game anymore, they put it on PS4 and PS5. I just downloaded it for free on my PS5.
Not sad for her. She already had to live for over 11,000 years! She could finally rest in peace. But she is my favorite in the team as well. She´s the most badass!
Great game I remember playing this when I was 14 in 2000 but forget me if I don't whish I could forget the lame / stoned/ half asleep sounding English voice acting of Zeige. The truely horrendous English voice acting of Shana and lame, stoned/ half awake sounding Rose. Only Dart's English actor sounded decent. I recommend watching the ending in Japanese as the voice acting is so much better.
I always got the feeling that the 5th generation was showing this beautiful, pristine world...and the 6th generation showed that humans just had to come along and ruin it.
that's some bad voice acting and dialogue. I am so glad Final Fantasy never did voice acting this generation because, as what we saw a generation later in FFX, it would have been horrible.
