Since I started in my trade as a tool and die maker in the late 1980's a 6 day work week has been the norm, and sometimes 7 day work week and if you ever declined it you were unofficially punished. This is in a non union environment. Somehow we need to go back to a 5 day work week and more family time. The time I lost with my kids chasing the almighty dollar can't be replaced
A longer work week will shorten life expectancy, thereby worsening the work shortage from low birth rate, etc. Pretty soon everyone will be a TH-camr
