Was waiting for you to post something, hope you have been busy working. That was a good video on how to fix that lift problem. I helped a friend with a 8N Ford with that problem. Let me rephrase that, I helped watch and do some heavy lifting 😂

Haven't been doing any projects lately. This was kinda a pain to do with one person, I bet one for an 8n is like a 3rd of the weight LoL it's still not perfect with the wear in the bore but it's much better than it was. I think you can buy the cylinder for an 8n reasonable aftermarket but I couldn't find one for this. An OEM one is several thousand dollars, so it'll have to be good enough.

Hey Chase, if you need good quality used parts for that tractor or any other, you can try Wengers in Myerstown, PA., or Alexander Tractor in Texas, they got used and aftermarket parts.

Hi Chase , that's was a nail biter ITS NEVER GOING BACK TOGETHER 😂😂 OK 175 pounds of you standing on the lift arms is not a good test so when you put the bush hog on did it stay ?

It's not like new, but much better than it was. The bore of the cylinder had a good bit of wear. I couldn't find one aftermarket and they wanted several thousand dollars for an OEM. It could be bypassing somewhere else to I suppose. I would say it's at least 3 times as good as it was. If you just have the front of the bushog picked up it'll hold for a good bit, but if you lift the entire thing up it leaks down and corrects still but not to the extent that it did.
