This entire trailer is beautiful, but the countdown is what really sells it. If you didn't know what this event was about, the count down is the only explanation you really need. It's all you need to understand the momentous breakthrough that is occurring.
The music used for this PV never fails to be breathtaking. It is out of this world

I think this trailer is incredible, simply outstanding. It's a gift for people who like sci-fi and space. The music, the visuals, the design, the idea of pioneering, discovering and making a breakthrough.
When I watch it I think of the works of Lem, Asimov, Strugatsky and the other authors of sci-fi.
I don't know what to expect from the event, but the trailer alone is incredibly well made.
The main thing I think about when watching this pv is the Apollo program. Tragic and beautiful

Arguably the greatest and most anticipated event Arknights has had so far, especially music-wise it just feels surreal.
After I finished the event, story-wise, I can say this IS the greatest Arknights event to date in my opinion. I have never, and I mean never been so immersed into a story this good for a solid 7 hours straight reading every line. Insane work Hypergryph, you are a work of art.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the amazing graphic design behind this entire event from the graphics, to the color palette, and even the typography. It absolutely nails the retro 1970s style and the 70s was arguably a golden age for space exploration (Apollo Missions, missions to Venus and Mars, Voyager missions).
The first flights of mankind to space in real life were such a pivotal moment, a groundbreaking breakthrough in human history that had essentially changed the course of history, and it makes me happy that HG had decided to incorporate that within the overarching story of Arknights as well, highlighting it in such a big event that a lot of us players are really anticipating and excited about.
Between this event and the announcement of Arknights Endfield, I can only feel excitement and hope for how much the Arknights universe can expand and grow.

The very first line in the event felt to me like a subtle setup for Endfield in the future. What serendipity that global is behind just enough that the envelope pushing Endfield and Lone Trail both arrived in the same week.

Control`s Wishes is the greatest OST I`ve heard so far, not just in Arknights. Still in my Spotify playlist since it first appeared on CN server. I love music that matches the lore, but even more I love when it`s about truthseeking. Just by listening to it, you can really tell that these are her wishes.
And it has such an audacious sound too. Every note and every hook envisions a lift off, with a tinge of tragedy. Did Golden Age Will Rise Again's composer do this track too?

This is the first time I'm feeling anxious and excited at the same time since Under Tides.
The music is GODLY
Again and again I say this, to cultivate your lore for years to have first spaceflight as the ultimate pivotal point in history of your worldbuilding is not something anyone could, and i would even say not everyone would like.
to create such a futuristic touch with space pioneering age design of RL with it's heavy focus on utilitarian, but to have it a nostalgic atmosphere almost too strong reminding us with our own first moon mission irl.
they didn't make this just bcs "ohh dystopian scifi world so maybe it's cool to have spaceflight", they have this planned from the start. all that build up, all that struggle of mankind and it's enduring history of 10k yrs, from era to era the advancement of technology and it's assimilation with culture.
they truly made a full "world" fit for this moment to be the peak

One of the greatest Arknights PV. It's up there with episode 8 PV.
IMO, this is the best event story so far in AK, even SN and Undersides can't reach this kind of level of chill and down to my spine, they are great but after this event release, the bar raise higher, at least thats what I feel. I personally looking forward to read it by my self.
by today's perspective, all the past stories seem so insignificant compared to lone trail XD
SN, UT, and WIR are still some of my favs. CW unfortunately didn't break thru the barrier for me.
I'm also kinda sad that the R6 Siege story doesn't get mentioned at all any more. The sacrifice of the kid and the mounting hatred for the villain were standouts for me.

for those who haven't read orchid's operator record, you should definitely read it someday with tissues. It's the background story of "twines of time". And after reading the story, you will find out how heartbreaking and amazing the new outfit is😢

Let's not destroy Terra when we're off for Endfield's moon like in Homeworld.
Honestly, that intro to HW was much more powerful, intriguing, and far better written than LT's English script. AK's locization has always been very wooden. It's clear that it wasn't done by native speakers.

Visual novel isn't a good form of story telling. There is a reason only small budget game use it.
When it comes to establishing tone, I really think Arknight trailers are great to study. Truly hope the team that worked on the trailers for Arknights goes on to work on Endfield trailers too. These are incredible.
With the bombshell that Endfield dropped earlier, confirming the real Angelina is in that game as well and is still working for Rhodes Island, I’m really looking forward to this event to better understand how Terra has gotten to the point of space travel/exploration!
This pv from cn to now isn't failing on making me tear up. It's just so beautiful yet reminds me of what tragedy American space exploration had to go to take that one leap. That and the interstellar black hole scene. all that in a 3 minute video. Hell even the battle theme hits the feels.
Watching the world of Arknights reach the space age after 4 years is so cool to me and I can't explain why.

This so far is the most influential event in Arknights history, which is saying a lot consider this is the 4th anniversary.
Remember, all stuffs of LT, including music, lore, UI, sound effect are just mind-blowing.

it's kinda surprising AK's world use the same calendar system as Gregorian Calendar.
As the name of the month were never mentioned in the game.
If you check operators archive, you will find their birth date.
The amount of details in this PV that you can miss if you aren't watching closely ! That PV is peak and I can't wait to read the story. The whole Rhine Lab side of the lore is one of my favorite because despite being in a fantasy world, it still feels real. Just fantastic work !
Can't say about other games, but i think arknights is just the best on event trailers. I can't be the only one to relive the time i first saw under tides pv when i heard that countdown.

This is definitely my my favourite event and trailer.
What a phenomenal trailer. Excellent aesthetics, beautiful music, and wondrous theming. Using the countdown to echo the real life space programs was a excellent idea because it also echos the wonder and awe of the event.
So, the trailer lived up to the event. Lone Trail is easily one of my favorite events now. Every character is excellent, every theme hits home, every song is deeply emotional, all of the story threads wove together, and every plot revelation is significant and well done. It is the perfect blend of melancholy and hope.
We learned so much about so many things, that it's not really possible to look at anything in Arknights the same way again.
And, in hind sight, that's exactly what Kristin wanted.

However, i think that even out the scope and the fact its only an event. You have honestly created my favorite piece of media i have ever seen. i has reminded me why i am currently studying astrophysics and tells me why i have to continue forward in spite of my childish worries.
If anything the way i feel right now after reading through all the event felt like watching INTERSTELLAR for the first time.
