Much appreciation for this lovely update John! Your trees have flourished and its so fun to see their growth this past year. I love how Tony bent his trees. A lovely heartwarming video that can't have been easy to make. I still watch Tony's videos to this day. In bonsai alone he lives on through is trees, his videos and his fantastic sense of humour. It would have been great to meet him in person. Best wishes to the family ❤
I've been thinking today, and if you'd be happy to, I'd be honoured to rehome a couple of Tony's trees and continue his work (hopefully for future generations to enjoy). I lost my Dear Dad, Paul to this awful disease in November 2022 and for the 12 months before, up until the present day, bonsai became the crutch that I didn't know I needed to distract me from life's cruelties. I still have a Hawthorn seedling which I found when I went on a dog walk with my Dad earlier in 2022 which I treasure, and hope that I can one day make into a mature-looking credible bonsai in my Dad's memory. If you'd be happy for me to take custody of one or two of Tony's trees, I'd gladly make the journey up from Wilmslow (approx 50 mins) one evening after work and make a donation to Cancer Research in Tony's name. Let me know your thoughts, and if you're happy to, we could perhaps arrange something. Many thanks, Les

After watching John's message I rewatched all Tony's videos. In my opinion his enthusiastic and happy personality did wonders for the bonsai community and I'm sure some of his trees would have evolved into true masterpieces with their own unique style, if only he'd had more time. It was nice to see some of Tony's trees again in this video, almost like having him back with us for a moment. I would have loved to buy some of the trees and take care of them in the years to come but unfortunately, bringing living trees back with me into EU (Denmark) can be a problem after brexit. Tony's spirit, his fearlessness and his love for weird stuff is with me when I care for my trees. He made an impact. Boom.
I often think of Tony, my love and thoughts to you and all his family. The love and thoughtful skills he applied in his landscape photography always shined in his Bonzai. Thank you for this video. Very missed and not forgotten.

Lovely to have an update and keep his memory fresh. He always was energetic and eager to reply to comments even from people like me that can accidently appear blunt due to using English as a second language. RIP Tony you are missed.
Glad you enjoyed the update. Thanks for your nice comment. X
It was enjoyable doing the update. Thank you for your kind words.
Such kind words thank you so much.x
Absolutely beautiful thank you so much Tony’s dad! The digger man, the camera man and now the update man. If only every dad could be like you. This really has lifting my spirits and I know the rest of the community will reciprocate 💚
Thanks for your lovely comment.X

Even now, seeing Tony's Bonsais will always make my day. I love seeing how well the fusion/clump-style bonsais are doing. Thank you John for giving us an update 😊 I look forward to any future updates, whenever they may be.
10:00 looks like a kind of juniper, maybe a red cedar?
I'll mention it to John. thanks.x
Thank you John for the update, we all stopped to watch in the Culshaw house. It must have taken a great deal of courage to record and post it, but it is a credit to you all. I particularly enjoyed the way you reflected on some of his ‘enthusiastic’ ideas which again triggered memories for me watching some of Tony’s previous videos. Well done all.
Thanks Alan I'll pass this on to John .xx
