- (6) Golden Harvest (嘉禾) was established in 1970, and is probably the second long-lasting Hong Kong studio next to Shaw Brothers (邵氏). It is unfortunate to see Raymond Chow steps down from it, thus a sweet and bitter evolution.
A 2013 redux has been released including the very first and recent GH idents!

I remembered the red Golden Harvest Logo in the opening of “Once Upon A Time in China”.
It's nice to see they went back to the classic blocky logo we know and love, though it looks like they deal more as a movie theater chain than a studio.

Been a 80s child. The third theme is far the best and a classic.

The 3rd one is best. The sound for the 4th one just didn't do it for me
if it aint broke, don't fix it! been so long since I have seen a good recent HK film, I think I have missed seeing that new GH logo. i remember back in the day where there was a GH cinema here in downtown Toronto. Love the idea of compiling these logos. BRAVO!

I remember there was a logo with the 4 blocks in silver in a blue oval, using the same music as the original.

Do you have the newest one (Orange Sky Golden Harvest)?
Not sure if you're talking about Golden Harvest Home Entertainment (ident for its videos), which had the big G in gold color inscribed into a blue TV-screen-shaped background.
WM, the so-called "latest" logo (used for GH's 30th anniversary 10 years ago) was ripped from the then GH website's flash file. In some DVD/VCDs you may see the same logo, but the bylines changed to either "Gala Distribution" or "Panasia Films Limited". GH reverted to the big G a few years ago with a CGI "Golden Harvest" intro and keeping the 30th anniversary fanfare, but recent Panasia's trailers on youtube often cropped the fanfare part and cut short to the big G.
