    Sorry, one more question -
I know you selected the template 8.5" x 11", but when you shrunk down the cover art in the Cricut software, it was different dimensions.
How do you work out the dimensions for your cover art?
Do you make the cover art a little smaller than the dimensions of the cover of the book so that there are margins on all side of the border, and by how much? I hope that makes sense.
Looking forward to future tutorials from you! ☺

@@TheViceX procreate will allow you to create specific dimensions of the paper you want to work with (so you can input your book dimensions) but I personally like to use the same dimensions for them all and alter it when I get into cricut in case I wanted to use certain designs for multiple books!

    Thank you for this.
Did you design these files in Procreate?
Does Procreate have elements to choose from like in Canva, were the roses in the one cover you did from Procreate, or did you get them from Canva? Do you know a workaround if someone doesn't have an iPad and probably won't be able to afford one for a long while, since I believe Procreate is just for Apple devices right? Thank you for your help!

@@TheViceX Procreate does not have elements like canva, you need to completely design everything which is why I like it more because there’s more freedom! I don’t know if another app besides canva for designing covers, sorry!

@taylorsbookart okay thank you I appreciate you answering this and my other question.
I guess I'm still a little confused on the workflow and where you get the design elements. If I'm understanding it sounds like you get whatever design elements you want from Canva and then after Canva put it into Procreate. Unless you're drawing the elements yourself in Procreate...Still not really sure on how to do the dimensions or the complete workflow start to finish... sorry for my confusion... thanks.
