- The Ortlieb Forkpack 5.8L is a top-notch piece of gear for anyone looking to take their bikepacking or touring adventures to the next level. This compact and rugged bag is designed to fit securely on your bike's fork, providing ample storage space without sacrificing performance.
Constructed from durable and waterproof materials, the Ortlieb Forkpack 5.8L is built to withstand even the toughest conditions. Its roll-top closure and welded seams ensure that your gear stays dry and secure, no matter how wet or bumpy the terrain gets.
Inside, the bag features a single compartment with plenty of room for all your essentials, such as a water bladder, food, tools, and spare clothing. The external compression straps allow you to further secure and streamline your load.
Thank U for that clip - those new 5.8 fork packs are little confusing as there's no new name or some gimmick to make clear communication for customer, its still PLUS but NOW they're in VERY convenient size, and that choice was veeery important for me at the moment. Thumbs up; ride safe!
Great to see how much fits.
Still no problem with the attacchment with only one screw (problems with the fork or the pack itself)? I have a similar carbon fork with just one screw and i'm interested in the same Ortlieb pack (the 4,1 liter one)
No problem for me just being on tour last week again and I use the 5.8 l bags just not over loading I only got about 3.5 kg in one bag like in the video or my sleeping bag
Maybe you can subscribe to my channel thanks 🙏
Hi there! I also have a carbon fork bike with 1 eyelet. Are still happy and safe with the attachment you've done? (I'm curious about the top attachement with the metal strip) Thanks.
I m very satisfied with it, my self and my wife have done a 2500 km trip to Spain and I had no problems at all you can see it on some videos from the trip
Tip use a old inner tube to protect your fork to be scratched.
@@cycling2adventure Thank you so much ;)
Do you know if there is a hack to install it on a tapered fork?
What you mean with tapered fork? There are clamps I believe it can be fixed on any fork
