Yes my son has a 2005 that I have worked on quite a bit , sticky cables is what I have found , but to lubricate them properly you have to remove them .
Life saver bro ! Dealer couldn't figure this out. I discovered the problem when removed panel as well. Lube the top cable and latch but still was doing it. Now got to remove the panel again abd lube the bottom cable

I believe because of the recall Toyota said they would update the covers and even attempt to the manual since they changed the fuse from 25 to 30A among other things for the sliding doors

Thanks for the video, pulled the ECU-B 10A fuse , moved and lubricated the cables. Your video saved us.

Guess 2018 sienna are different. Its very hard to get to the bottom cable. Its covered up and moght need to remove it completely

Why does the manual show the psd fuses as 25A and the cover for the fuse box show them as 30A?

May i ask what lube you used for permanent lube / grease ? I did silicone spray and doesn't last a day or 2
