I was the one who put this show together with Stormbringer Rock Club. It was originally meant to be a concert with CTTB and Joe Lynn Turner, but Turner had to undergo surgery right before this show was about to happen, so I discussed the possibility with guitarist Jo Henning Kåsin about bringing other singers aboard. I had Doogie White on my Facebook friends list, so I sent him a request. He was up for it. Next, destiny happened as I had just done an interview with Graham Bonnet for Scream Magazine, so I called him up and asked if he would be interested. He was, too. So there we had Doogie who could pull off the «Stranger…» material and Turner songs, Bonnet who could sing «Down To Earth», but we needed a guy who could do more of the Dio stuff besides Doogie singing «Temple…». I called my good friend Jørn Lande, and the result happened in Fjellhaven, Gjøvik in 2014. A night to Remember🤘
Hi Rick! I have video of Jorn but he didn’t approve the concert to be filmed so I don’t know if I ever be able to post any video with him from this Concert.
