Utena's soundtrack is so fucking good. Like it's unbelievably pure awesomeness. It's also so unique, like there's nothing quite like it. But then again, the same could be said for the whole show. I'm really glad i watched it.

The only version of Utena is the one that aired starting in 1997. It’s never been remade cause the director doesn’t want to, he’s rather make new projects like the show he made recently called Sarazanmai
There is a remake but in a form of a movie and I think that the director is the same of the series. It's different but is also really good so go and watch it

Always when I listen to these opening or ending songs I sometimes get goosebumps when I compare them with current singers, how can it be possible that such powerful voices are no longer what happened to them?
My sisters and I used to watch this anime together when we were younger- my older sister even helped me make an Utena costume one year for Halloween. This was one of our least favorite songs from Utena but that’s still saying a lot because we still absolutely rocked out to it whenever it played.
I understood the animation of the ending while watching the last episodes. From the beginning they were giving clues with the op and ed. My mind was blown XD

I remember when I watched this anime when I was a little girl, and I did not think anything wrong about the characters, I just remember they loved each other and nothing more, when you are a kid you have something pure, then I grew up and predjuices started to come from external sourcers like religion, people, etc.
Funny Enough... when you grow up, Animes and Mangas become more clear to you so you value them even more - The same way it happens with more serious Art - so things that you learn when you grow up makes you value the chars and histories even more. Althought it doesn't happen with all anime, it happens when the one that are just good. For Example, I'm over 33 btw and i'm already excited to watch this someday

@Eliza I found the characters and their romance very well written, as the writer uses the idea of them being stepsister's less as a fetish, and more as a writing tool to get the characters to interact. And the whole story could be considered almost an homage to old class-S manga

Found out, its a cover from the album Masami Kobushi. I saw a lower quality video on Bilibili as part of a compilation, audacity'd it, and got it. It's not as good, but nothing will be as good as the album itself which costs like 35 bucks.

I watched Utena for the first time last year. I love the music, the story- everything about it really.
It is actually one of the most complex anime’s ever made. Its not just an old time show. Something an art critic can analyze and catalogue.
