I really enjoyed watching your video! I’ve been doing peaches this week and I like the idea of doing sugar pack peaches. So I’m gonna try that next time. Thank you for sharing!
You have a beautiful soul! Thank you my dear for sharing. I didn’t listen or learn when I had my mom… May God bless you in a very special way. Oh yes, the peaches look beautiful and I love your method. I got peaches and I’m doing them your way! 😊🌷
Love your recipes and tips, but c'mon! Cool Whip?! Whipped cream and peaches and cake! Go the distance - extravagant and natural, not ordinary and synthetic! Our peaches up here in Canada tend to come from British Columbia and Ontario, but being much further north, they usually are not as large as those delectable Georgia ones, but still nice and sweet! I should send you my mum's great recipe for a deep dish, cast iron skillet, peach pie (apples are wonderful too). Add bacon or cubed ham for a dish which can be a great breakfast, brunch, lunch, lunner, or even dinner! Yum, yum, yum! Cheers!
Oh, you answered my question as to why to freeze them this way. Makes sense. I always can but this year will do this and the sugar packs. Loved your video. Will do this tomorrow with my Palisade peaches from Colorado. No fruit fresh. Avoid chemicals. Subbed, belled and liked. Thank you.
@@JackiesSouthernSoul My mom has peach trees and I’m having a hard time finding the ripe ones so I can. I did cut up some and sprinkle a little sugar on some cut up peaches 🍑 and my mom has enjoyed that! But, I haven’t given up
Hey Miss ZD! I went to Bellews and got one more basket of peaches today. They are good too but this is my last batch. They should last in my freezer until at least mid Winter. Thank you for watching and God bless!
When we buy our next house I hope I have a little land to plant some fruit and nut trees. Everything is high as the sky right now and I don’t see it getting any better.
It’s a personal choice so it’s totally up to you. I usually make peach tea with my skins. If I were eating a fresh peach I eat the whole thing but for pies the peaches are always peeled.
@@JackiesSouthernSoul okay - so it is not something odd that happens when you cook or freeze the skins ? My mother never taught me practical things - so I really don't know - thanks for answering
Hey Carla. I’ve never used it when freezing fruit. It’s supposed to keep the fruit from browning. I usually don’t have that problem because I work with small batches and they don’t sit out in the air long after I peal and slice them. That’s the trick, work in small batches and get them ready for the freezer quickly. When you thaw your sugar packed fruit let them thaw in a bowl in the refrigerator instead of sitting them out at room temperature. That will brown them for sure.
Guess what I did today? Froze peaches. Your video was just in time for me. THANKS!!!
Your peaches look beautiful! Thank you for the lesson. 😃
So nice of you🥰

You are so welcome!
As some constructive advice, try using a tomato/peach peeler. They make the job incredibly fast!!! Love your video!!!
This is so my Mississippi life. My dad does Jan’s, preserves, he can everything. So I know how much of a delicatessen these are.

Did you remove the skin on the non sugar batch?
I love you Mrs Jackie
Thank you Tim! I love you too Son!
I like your video, but I don’t care for the loud music. The peaches look wonderful. Thanks for sharing. ❤️🙏✝️🌈
Well i guess with all them peaches there will be some peach videos coming up right😉🤪🤣😂
Hopefully, you bought your own peach 🍑 trees... They are on sale right now.... I keep the skin on...

with so many nutrients and fiber in the skin - why does everyone cut the skin off ? Does it make a difference when freezing it ?

I tried ur method for freezing for my smoothie, two sheets were gone in the morning, the grannies ate them frozen😂
Oh my. It’s hard to resist a good peach fresh or frozen. 😆
Hi I am curious why you don’t like fruit fresh. Most of the videos I watched used it. But I don’t really know anything about it.

Welcome!
25 minutes to cut and freeze peaches?? Thanks but we all have busy lives. 8 or 9 minutes would have been more than enough. Might help with viewership
You weren’t too busy to type this f*d up message. Go have a seat.

Thank you sunwillcomeup.
@Bill, just politely move on to the next channel that offers shorter videos. How long are your videos usually that you post to TH-cam? Just curious.
@@JackiesSouthernSoul His attention span is probably less then 5 minutes...
