My April Fools joke for this year, it's Satori Maiden ~ Third Eye in the style of Hartmann's Youkai Girl
I really like Hartmann's Youkai Girl memes, i don't know why, it's just a really fun song to mess around with, i love the weird time signatures
Thanks to TJ for helping me with the video
Also here's the current status of what i'm working on, i haven't uploaded a lot of videos on TH-cam because i'm busy composing for indie games
1. New hook physics platformer game music (DONE! Will release soon)
2. A visual novel OST (50% done)
3. Hazuki Dies: She Has No name (rhythm RPG) (???% done)
4. New Nociception game song (more info later on)

Here's how i made it; I listened to both songs, and transcribed the basic composition of them (chords, melodies), then i used the rhythms of Koishi's theme with the chords and key of Satori's theme, changing the melody of Satori's theme to better fit the rhythm of Koishi's theme, then for the chorus, it's just the chords of Koishi's chorus combined with Satori's chorus melody but again altered to fit Koishi's chorus chords better, then after that, just analyse which instruments were used and what kind of effects they use, and try to replicate that with what you have (in this case, Edirol SD-90 for strings, saw wave, electric piano, clav, Super Quartet VST for piano and the 2 basses, LM4 gator kit for drums)
