I remember unlocking this footage in MK: Deadly Alliance. Those PS2 era MK games weren't great competitive fighters but awesome single players experiences. Defiantly have a lot of nostalgia for those games.
Yeah everyone bags on this game, but I bet none of you nerds nowadays could even attempt to do half the shit Ed Boon & John Tobias did on this game. Despite the cheesiness, cringe and gameplay, this story does a lot to establish Bi Han as a character and supremely talented warrior. (Something the new games seem to have forgotten when it comes to his character). Lore-wise this game is sick.
What a shame; they really dropped the ball on the play control of this game, otherwise it would’ve been far more enjoyable. But these behind-the-scenes MK videos are always cool and funny :)
I love this game, no matter the public opinion. Lore is good for the mk universe standard, plus you can kill or run through enemies in the middle of battle. Also showing off subzero abilities that I found amazing like the ability to freeze everything on the screen and then finish them off with one hit. The only really worst thing about the game are those mini bosses, they are repetitive and you are limited to kill with the same pattern. But it's a good game and it has the best soundtrack of any other in the series. It also has a better story than the lastest mk with those multiversal sh*t fanservice like marvel.

Whenever we do get a follow-up to Mortal Kombat X, I truly do hope that we go back to the era of Digitized Graphics for the gameplay and Live Action FMV footage, this is part of why the 03D and HD entries beyond MK Mythologies: Sub Zero and Mortal Kombat IV have been despised by me and also due to them playing in no way like their I992 to I997 predecessors, it's also part of why I hope that we eventually get Mortal Kombat HD Arcade Kollection as an update to the original Revision 04.00 compilation set that we got on Generation VII consoles and wishfully other titles will follow, perhaps I'll even join the action and work on such a concept for other genres as well alongside 02D Fighters and Brawlers.
seems like to me the only thing you truly need is a time machine. what do you think this is? as if one of the biggest fighting game franchises just goes back to stone age because some sissy on the internet can't play advanced
