Great to see the mailman setting sail at last! Rules are made so you think before you break them. If you happen to accidentally sell an unopened box of food you bought at one market to a vendor on a different island, and completely unintentionally make a good profit on that, I'm sure the company wouldn't notice, rather than doing your side hustle at the company office itself in front of the crusader bossman. I like the restrictive rules, but of course that gives you something to get creative with. I'm sure the rules might be applied differently far the ocean from Siren Song. Money will remain tight enough to keep things interesting. You're making an honest enough living, and the company should be pleased if you make them more money too. I like the idea of having to have mail from Aestrin in order to be allowed to visit different regions. However, if they have some extra pieces of official sailmail headed for your destination waiting for you at your first port of call, you'd probably HAVE to take that along because you're the mailman. There would be nothing wrong with stopping over at Dragon Cliffs on your way to deliver mail to GRC, because that's just how the trade winds blow. So one package of mail from Aestrin to GRC would be a perfectly good reason to have to carry lots more mail between stopovers en route, handed to you by meddling middle management spread out across the globe. If you want a new and scary challenge, try a medieval tech challenge. Depending on the area and period you're going for, that could mean any of the following: - square sails only - squares and lateens, but jibs or gaffs restricted - compass unavailable or restricted to Emerald Archipelago - quadrant only, or region restricted to Al Ankh - sun compass and chronocompass forbidden because they can't exist - chronometer reserved as an endgame reward or completely forbidden as they only became available in the 1760s - the way of the wine bottle Alternatively, you could give yourself a tough time limit to escape a region or make it to another region within X days. There's something brand new, horribly expensive and amazing at Kicia Bay to speedrun towards. Maybe you could become an international art collector with a floating gallery, or a deep sea explorer and naturalist charting and researching the natural wonders of the planet. There are many different ways of doing everything, and there's always something new to try out.
To answer your question (though differently than expected): I actually enjoy the sound of keyboard presses when I watch others play games. I'd recommend also considering the possibility of seeking out a nicer keyboard (if it's not already exactly what you want of course), as an alternative or addition to seeking a better microphone (I have no issue with your current microphone, personally, or your keyboard, for that matter.) Just something to consider.
An Aestrin mail company... So he could buy and sell things if he goes between Al Ankh and Emerald. Its just a matter of not getting caught - and I don't see the mail company checking on his cargo out in Al Ankh.
Here's a thought, priority mail. Every so often, you come across a package that you are told is priority mail. You have to change your plan and deliver that to where ever it's going immediately, as fast as possible. And then still attempt to make your other outstanding deliveries on time. Mechanically, out of character I'm not sure how you'd decide what is considered priority mail. Maybe at the end of an episode your viewers get to see the job list wherever you end up, and tell you which one is the priority mail for the start of the next episode? I'd not do it ever ep though, I'd imagine it being a rarer thing, maybe a dice roll at the end of the ep to decide if there will be a priority mail next time round?
I LIKE IT!! Yeah, it'd definitely be on the rare side, but that's a very interesting challenge! I'll have to put some thought into it and see how it plays out.

@DaltonReutlinger Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I do think there's something to be said for a degree of randomness to it though, ideally the sort of thing that you don't know is coming till it happens, but logistically and mechanically how that'd work I can see is a lot trickier....
Late to the series so this idea for a row is no good for this run, but I would think that this postie would be allowed to fish and to smoke and sell excess fish..
I started as a fanfiction author, 20 years ago. a few months in, i already had 30 people that were very active with commenting on my newest chapters. one of those people is still with me to this day. so i would say, you dont have to have many readers or in this case a lot of subscribers to call that few people that stick with you, your fans. And i dont know, but i would see it as a badge of honor when someone buys my book in hopes i get successful. they would not do it if they could not see the potential for it in my work.
I think a combination of red sails that are closest to the water and blue for the ones farther is best. I personally would do a green, white and red scheme
Here is my review for sailwind: Please fix things in invotroy dissappearing when reover ship. i want more smokeable pipes and tobaccos in the game. The pipes will be peterson pipes, churchwooden pipes and a calabash pipe. Red tobacco will fill up your thirst. Blue tobacco will fill up your hunger. Rainbow tobacco will spawn in a merchent who he sells all tobaccos and pipes, he will smoke a diffient pipe every day. I want mermaids and mermen in the game. I want character costumation and third person for your character. Your character will be able to have kids with mermaids. These mermiads and mermen will have 50% change to appear a t sea and a 75% change to appear on land. I want a new area based off of one piece.
When I start recording my own youtube vidoes with recording equipment, I will play as a food and drink trader from a reion not in the game. He is on his disvory vovage.

If you buy a crate of something and then sell the empty crate in another region, is it considered smuggling?
