Thank you for having this video available..I feel like a freaking alien ... Ole school person only wanting a plain ole tv to plug up and turn on. I have never seen nothing like this in my life I sure appreciate this video 2 years later. I bought a 99 dollar 24 inch just to prop up in the bathroom. I hope ❤ I can just use a regular antenna and get those ole fashioned local channels again. 2024🎉
I think the videos are the hardest to set up. I bought a Roku TV and it was a lot easier but these are good TVs when she got it working. I think you’ll enjoy it. Thank you for watching.
Thanks I'll be hooking mine up tomorrow. Bought mine about 3 weeks ago because my old TV was acting up and glad I did because tonight in middle of watching a show on Netflix it finally died. I don't have cable subscription just internet as I watch threw my Xbox series x. Now I can get the Netflix right from my TV without putting added hours on my Xbox. HDMI is how that hooks up. Looks very easy to setup but was just checking. Ty
Hey is this tv good? Planning on getting one for my room I been using my pc to watch everything I stream with and plan on getting this tv to watch movies do you consider it?
Usually use coaxial with a Xfinity or Comcast and it comes with an exterior box but lately they’ve been adding it directly to the TV through an app so that it’s all on Wi-Fi depending on where you’re at depends on whether you’re going to have that or not coaxial can also be used for an exterior antenna which means you get free TV then good luck thanks for watching
Hi Tom, I recently buy this model for Android version, but at this point I don't know how to confirm this. Was expecting to have access to the Play Store, but nothing ...Is your TV Android?...if yes, would you explain how to...Thanks.
I think it all depends on which version TV you get and if it’ll let you have access to the App Store, but usually you should be able to just load up whatever you want on there
I just replaced a 2015 Visio with a new D series 40 inch today. I wish these `puter geeks would leave setup alone on these sets - too many hoops to jump through that most ppl don`t need (or want). Visio left off the arrows on the navigation ring. Yes, trial and a few errors with a few 'restarts' to add to it, but it finally does work. I would have kept the old one but I guess 'back light' went out and it would not easily start up from on/off, you could get sound and dark blue screen.
The white cord on a Vizio D-Series 40-inch TV typically serves one of these purposes, depending on the cord: 1. Power Cord • If the white cord connects the TV to a power outlet, it’s the power cord, supplying electricity to the TV. This is essential for the TV to function. 2. Antenna or Cable Connection • If the cord is coaxial (round with a threaded connector), it might be used to connect to a cable box or antenna for receiving TV channels. 3. Audio Cable • If it’s a thin white cord with a headphone-style connector, it could be a 3.5mm auxiliary cable for audio output to external speakers or headphones. 4. HDMI or AV Cable • If the white cord has specific connectors, such as HDMI or RCA (red, white, yellow), it’s likely used for connecting external devices like gaming consoles or DVD players. If you’re unsure, provide more details about the cord’s connector type or where it’s connected, and I can give more specific guidance.
Una pregunta, para conectarlo a Internet, solamente se puede desde una red wifa , o también puedo hacerlo con los datos del teléfono? Necesito ayuda , muchas gracias
Have been on internet and went to turn on and internet was turned off but trying Togo to a n antenna but it skips past where uytaays TV channels how do I get there
I went through three 40 in Vizio TVs in one day The first one my cat broke that was on me The second purchase the TV didn't turn on that was on them Hopefully the third one will work
You can hook your TV antenna up to one of the inputs I think you could just screw it into the coaxial cable outlet and you should be able to get local channels. Good luck. Thanks for watching.
Notice how when he bent over to try to get the TV out of the box he said "this is the tricky part" no sir, The tricky part is when you sold crack for free without pulling your boxers up! 🤣J/K but that was funny when u said that!
I'll never buy another Vizio TV again! This is a hassle and next TV I purchase will definitely not be another smart TV! People save your money cause in a couple of months it will not work. Also the dam remote quits working alot and yes the batteries are good. Putting this on Craigslist tomorrow under the free section after I go buy a new TV that's not so called smart.
As in the kind of instructions and have Vizio TV hooked up to inside store bought and homeaid antenna can get past no signal except when TV on cable connection then not clear.

I loved his sense of humor here . This was hilarious 😅 like a prank tv. 2024 thanks
I try to make it funny and fun thank you for the comments and enjoy your TV
Thank you and your wife for sharing this video be blessed Amen 🙏💯
Our pleasure!
I got a question, I bought a Vizio, but it’s a 43 inch smart tv 4K version. I was wondering does it require a sound bar?
They have their own speakers, but it works better if you have exterior speakers or a sound bar
@@TomLeeman Okay, thank you.
The antenna would be one of the inputs so you would have to navigate there with the remote and then use an additional remote for that antenna
What “programs” come with the smart tv? Like free stuff?
I think you can get Roku and freeVee

Do you need to have a coaxel or is that just so you can have cable?

My screw isn’t going in all the way it gets stuck literally stop screwing in after 3 twist in smh. is it the t.v or the screw
I would back it out and try again. It should screw right in there.
How would one be able to connect the tv to the Ethernet port in the wall?
You can connect it Wi-Fi dont need if you have internet provider
@@TomLeeman What if I don’t have an internet provider that’s compatible with the Vizio D-Series? Would I just have to get a different TV then?

I know the set up is completely ridiculous. It just takes forever to do and it’s confusing. Good luck. Thanks for watching.

You should be able to mirror your phone on your TV. You’ll have to find it in settings.

We have a Comcast box for two hours so we go to that input I don’t have to use a different remote controller
Does it come with screws
Yes, this TV comes with everything you need to set it up even batteries for the remote
best youtube video on youtube
Thanks I appreciate that. Enjoy your new TV.
How to change resolution 😊
I think that these are only 1080 P
I need to know how to set it up
Just watch my videos
Is there hdmi
Yes, there is so you can connect devices to it such as a DVD player or a Facebook portal or an Amazon fire TV
The new remote does not have numbers. I thought it would. I will probably return it because it does not.
All these new, smart TVs don’t have the traditional numbers like the older remotes. Unfortunately, I have to learn the new system.
My tv is just stuck on the entering email and that’s it 🙃 then I have to sign up everytime
The set up for this TV is a pain in the butt but keep trying you’ll get it

problem with the network and wifi. I don't have a password. will probably return
If you look on your router or modem, there should be the name of the network and the password for your Wi-Fi

I thought they were a smart TV and was supposed to have Wi-Fi built into them so why would anybody need to hook him up the cable
Comcast has Wi-Fi boxes now for most TVs so you could just run it off Wi-Fi or you could hook up your coaxial cable to it either way it works
Lee Timothy Thompson Helen Anderson Scott
Okey-doke
My dumba$$ searched up tutorials because my controler didn't work turned out i put negative on positive
