Not gone lie I'm looking to go to film school in Atlanta and based on stereotypes of ATL I been super nervous about being out there by myself with my children, because you always hear Atlanta is dangerous, but THIS video gave me a sense of calming and really made me feel more at ease with moving there. Something about this is calming for me idk why lol so thank you for this 💛

Hello, I’m a resident of The legacy at Druid hills. The information in this video is very good info but not completely accurate. The pricing on the surface is great yes. However once the lease is signed it seems things change depending on the location of ur apartment. Once the lease is signed you then realize that the price of your unit increases by an additional $175 to account for monthly taxes and fees for utilities such as $65 cable, $25 for valley trash, and an additional $75 for utilities in the rent. Now that’s totally ok but they don’t tell you that until ur lease is signed. They only advertise the base rent. The units near the leasing office and the front of the property where it can be seen from the street look freshly painted, clean and modernized. Upon reaching the back and hidden side of the property, as you would imagine, the farther away your unit is from the leasing office, the less attention to detail is and cleanliness is a factor. It’s a rare occurrence, almost non existent to see any groundskeepers working to keep said side of the complex as presentable as the other side. The trash receptacles are left open with trash hanging out of the receptacles. The units on the inside have been painted over numerous times so the doors, bathroom vanity and the cabinets in the kitchen don’t close properly. I moved in to find my toilet seat wasn’t brand new had appliance grease and paint all over it. The vents have been painted over as well. One vent had a screw in it to keep it open. I wasn’t given or even informed of a walk thru before moving in nor was I given an inspection sheet to properly note the issues I saw n that needed to be corrected within the unit. Overall, yes the rent here is still relatively cheaper than most places here in Atlanta, especially for the location. Just be mindful of those things that you as a future resident would consider to be standards or living in your apartment home and that you consider acceptable conditions for your unit. I’ll say this as of right now my email contact with corporate has been my best tool. I wish you all the best in Your apartment hunting 😊

Absolutely not! I live on the a Lakeside end of the property and NOPE on this side the units look like the hood. Extremely over painted doors and cabinets that don’t close all the way as a result. Lumps in my counter top in the kitchen gashes in the laminate tile on the floor in the kitchen.
