They do. But if all your life revolves around R*, EA, Activision, 2K, and Ubisoft games, I can understand why you'd say that given their live service push nowadays.
@@TheGravityShifter my life doesn’t revolve around them I was just saying most games don’t get dlc like this it feels like some do like Spider-Man ps4 ghost of Tsushima horizon zero dawn etc but most games focus on providing live service or microtrans actions
@@luko177 I just made that assumption of sorts merely because most games do that (even non exclusives) already or game don't need it.
Forgive me though, as usually those who think Live Service is what the Gaming Industry purely seems to be never really have tried other games out there. There are many more games without DLC or has what you want that aren't live service games.
Also, people usually don't like to give Indie games a chance even though they are exactly what people want in their games which is hypocritical. It's all about the AAA standard.
Most Indie studios these days have reached a point where it's AA quality on average so there's really no excuse to avoid them. Like Kena: Bridge of Spirits? First ever game from a new studio, and it's pretty dang superb. It's definitely got that "First Project Syndrome" but it's genuinely a great game worth looking into at the very least.

Usually SP games generally already have a good enough amount for it to be considered "complete". While I agree that it could be done more to keep a game alive longer, I also believe it's not always necessary. Maybe if a game had a cliff hanger, or it's like SR2 where it does follow-up stories. That I do agree is nice to have.
Seriously, Pro's many different outfits that he wears during his gameplays is fan art material.
Edit: Shouts out to my favorite outfits goes to Watch Dogs, Hitman, Vice City Stories and Saints Row 1 & 2.

That scout prototype is the EDFs scout vehicle from Red faction.
That's actually amazing that cannonically it shows up in some fashion to connect the games.
It's a useful vehicle, I've done both areas of Fuzz, Red Asphalt, Retribution, Jail Bait,
Road Rage.

I remember buying this DLC back in 2009. For the longest of time, I never knew who Tera Patrick is and the fact that Volition hired a P*rnstar.
Ain't the first time, the show Aqua Teen Hunger Force had her in one episode and they brought the real Tera Patrick to voice herself
Volition hired Sasha Grey for Saints Row The Third and she was an iconic pr0nstar at that time. But her and the Dubstep Gun is not enough to convince us to like the new direction of Saints Row.

It's really nice of Ultor to never use the heavy machine gun mounted on top of their APCs. Gotta thank the National guard in GTA as well for never using the cannon on their tanks.
Instead using that.. Ramming the vehicles is enough to blow your car In a minute.. i have experience tow car side activity is hard as hell when three Police together ram your truck and blow for a few seconds 😂.
Nah, in GTA 5, they used the cannons of their tanks in the Paleto score and in the Military Rampage...

Notice the dead bodies have the same models as zombies from Zombie Uprising. Makes you wonder what they were really doing with nanites.
For any vehicle collection enthusiasts out there you can get that flatbed truck, the "Runner" in that second mission. If you damage until the two guys and get in before Tera finish talking, double tap down d-pad to quit and it should have you inside it. Only thing is getting it back to the garage since it will be smoking. Also, Tera's car the "Temptress" is actually the "Rattler" from SR1, which you can get from either Foreign Power/Warren Williams. They change it drastically in SRTT and the Remastered.
Here we go with the DLC! The DLC's also come with additional vehicles and customization options such as the best hairstyle in the game in myo opinion (Feathered), and clothes like the Ronin's Jacket (no female variant sadly unless you have GOTR on PC), and a few crazy outfits like EDF Armor from Red Faction. The DLC is also available after you complete the prologue, and I'd suggest if you're not playing the game in story order you complete the missions as they all pay $50,000 each. You can get some really good weapons early on in these missions.
These dlc also included Ronin which was my favorite jacket. I had it with Saints colors.
You should do a lore video on Ultor, because they're also in another game called Red Faction. And they're even more of an evil corporation in that game

I was playing through the game on Hardcore while watching, I beat the mission with the help of calling in the delivery Homie so that he can drive behind us trying to deliver my vehicle all while the kneecappers on it popped the tires of police and Ultor vehicles along with civilian vehicles causing more highway chaos which also provided more cover at times from missles. I also thought the mission was going to force me to lower the difficulty but I didn't want to do that so I had to get creative.

I sadly couldn't find this dlc, perhaps I just missed it, I have played this before, I actually do this dlc after the Pyramid Ultor mission.
Fun Fact: That location where you were defending the truck is all a reference to the Friday The 13th Movies, I think you can even find a Mask that belongs to Jason Voorhees.

Note the edf scout uses a laser guided rocket. So it follows where you are aiming. Fire in the sky and look at your target with no roof over their head.
But what if the edf scout was in GTA O, but the armor can tank 2 rpg hits?

I always liked to collect the money of 50K mostly after completing all story missions. And its crib customization.
About EDF Scout. It really pissed me off, when I firstly saw it. Not in the mission, but in general. It actually makes no sense to be in Ultor Exposed DLC (or Saints Row Universe, really).
If we dig up a little bit (in the first Red Faction game), we can find that Ultor has its own ATV with a machine gun turret that resembles good old Humvee. Furthermore, what the heck EDF (Earth Defence Force) forget in 2008 (during events of SR2)? I mean, it's OK for them to be in 2075, when the first Red Faction rebellion on Mars happened, 'cause Humanity has reached another planet and there must be some sort of military force, protecting not the corporations, but Humanity as a whole from potential threads from the space or whatever they can encounter both in space or on the surface. Why do we have in 2008 both EDF Assault Aircraft (aka, EDF Flyer, you can find it in the Aviation Museum (both during The Ronin stronghold and free-roam)) and EDF Scout ATV (and to make less sense - developed by Ultor)? For me, as a big fan of both Volition franchises, there would be so much more sense, if there would be Ultor's/Mercs' Aesir Fighter (as an easter egg in the Aviation Museum, or like usable aircraft) and Ultor's ATV (or even Ultor's track APC).
I understand why Volition made this in the first place - there was Red Faction Guerrilla coming next year (2009), and in an order to promote their new game, they put some stuff from it (in a form of easter eggs, or, like in the EDF Scout case - actual gameplay thing). Yes, Volition always says that RF and SR Universes are NOT connected directly. But, for me, these mistakes dissapoints me a little bit.

Ugh, I hated these missions, especially having to guard other NPCs. What would usually help me is buying a Homing Launcher to easily target helicopters.
