Site C dam construction forces BC farmers to move

Their 3rd generation farmers they and have called the Peace River Valley their home for almost 40 years.
But that could all change soon for Ken and Arline Boon, who may see their home destroyed by the end of the month, as plans move forward to realign highway 29 as construction continues on the Site C dam.
CJDC’s Brendan Miller caught up with the Boons today, who are hopefully to see a change of government next week, who make reconsider building the entire project.

We seem to be hell bent to destroy living creatures and there homes, peoples land that they struggled all there life to care for, the beauty of nature, we're never happy with what earth has gifted us.
We must "build concrete structures for the betterment of humanity"
In reality, we have become masters of destruction for our materialistic lifestyle, which we think is our right to have. We scurry like rodents seeking ways to change everything to suit our needs, all along not noticing the trail of destruction we have cause not only this gifted planet but all that deserve the equal right to live here. And when our fellow humans get in our way, we wage war and kill each other like we have the right to.
We have become a disgusting, vial "over privileged" evil master of the world that can't see what we've become.
Oh, how we have changed this beautiful planet that was once full of life, not just of our own.
Just maybe, this has become our hell...........
