- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. The sessions are unplugged and performed with minimum instrumentation. No retakes. One stretch live performance..

I often used to doubt whether such golden hits could be re- created...but having heard Santhosh and Thiripurasundari rendering so effectively I no longer have such doubts...A real achievement indeed!

Superb rendition by santosh and Tripura sundari. There is great feel in singing of Tripura sundari. As usual venkat at his best. Nice team work. Good selection of song and singers. Niceyribute to Kavignar Vali ayya in his Ninaivu naal.
As we know Santhosh voice always nice. But, today female voice Thiripura Sundari.,.Oh....Wow!!! Wow!!! Such a soothing voice. Very very nice rendition as well. Thank u for bringing this song for us...... really loved it.

Appappaa, arumai arumai!! Thanks to the team for presenting this timeless classic. This is one of those songs where one is simply immersed in the silence that arrives on completion of the song. Thanks especially to both the singers for creating that effect, which is almost indistinguishable to the one from the original score!!

Vali, MSV, T M S, PS are very great mixers of combination to this song is enchanting and enlightening.
Can anyone except the great MSV (with TKR) compose like this? What an incredible composition, simply awesome. All the 8 songs in Padagotti were fabulous. In fact MSV composed for 14 movies in 1964, including Padagotti, a total of about 100 songs, all of which were super duper hits. And what a versatility, each & every song was totally different from the others. Hats off to Mellisai Maa Mannar. We have to remember one thing, however great may be a lyric, unless the music is good it will have no value

Whenever santhosh features in QFR,he steals the show.Thiripurasundari also has made a fantastic presentation.Sometimes, I get a feeling that QFR performers are no less the performers of the original song.
