If Max did a "Rate The Super" for the Storm games, it would be like a 2 hour video.
And considering that some characters like Naruto have 8 super in his base form let alone the ultimate super with 2 or 3 characters it will take more than 2 hours

ignoring the fact that Capcom clearly knows how to get people excited with Cammy, seeing one of her supers reference the SF2 animated movie is pretty sick
I I recall Wonder Woman has a thing in the comics were she is immune to stuff like corruption and mind control, so it's kind of cool to have that reflected in the game, by having her be the only uncorrupted member of the League.
Either that or she was on themiscyra
Batman could be faking it. I'm super stoked by the story, I really hope the game is good. It's got a lot working against it.
For how cool that is, the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired... a lot.

@@finnrogue9435 Yeah, the game gets hate because of the live service aspect, but the actual gameplay looks really fun, and the story and cutscenes look on point.
I haven't seen Max this excited for both Street Fighter and Resident Evil 4 remake since their announcement

I love the supers in these games. I am one of the people asking Max to rate them. (My favorites are the ones in the first game)

Ultimate Ninja (PS2) with each of them having multiple super cinematics are tough to beat.

Yup the last bad thing they did was Street Fighter V's launch. Everything has been great after that. It's almost as if listening to longtime loyal fans and giving them what they want works rather than alienating them to try and capture new but non loyal audiences like with DmC and RE6.

Street Fighter 6 just continues to impress, definitely the best part of this State Of Play

We all agree that a Russian bear, a Thunderfoot bird, and a killer bee was all that we needed to see.
I didn't watch a second of the Resi 4 trailer first go round because of it and that's coming from someone who loved the original.
SF6 is on fire the release is going to be a huge party and everyone is invited.

Naruto in the middle of a max thumbnail is that last thing I’d expect to see in my life. Well done.
I think the biggest issue on the Suicide Squad game is the fact that everybody have a gun.
If you see the idea behind the comics of this series and the movies (specially the last one), you will see that is all about they using their unique abilities (even if doesn't match with a battlefield scenario) to fight against the enemies.
Deadshot is the guy of the guns,and making everybody use one, doesn't make him look special...but that is my opinion.

Thats what i was thinking. It doesn't look awful but when i think DC game made by Rocksteady i think of whooping ass with my barehands not really shooting. I feel like King Shark and Harley would work better with that while Cpt boomerang would be a mix between and deadshot be the one with the guns
Zang looks very VERY accurate for a guy who would have been all about lifting and becoming strong. He's got that older man strength physique. Very cool touch. God damn Matt Mercer has such a identifiable voice in any and every Capcom game. Voicing the RE trailer

40:29 Yeah 100% there going for that very art deco retro futurism look and feel with Metropolis like the Superman Animated Series. Makes sense as Arkhamverse is heavily inspired by the DC Animated Uinverse with Gotham itself having that more timeless 1930s Gothic meets Art deco look while Metropolis goes for a more 1950s feel. I think that's my main reason for buying the game at the moment is to explore a really solid rendition of Metropolis a setting that is a mix bag in media ranging from really cool looking to some boring generic city like we tend to see in the movies.

i literally, on my own, for fun, rated the supers in just storm 4 and it took me around an hour.
i loved it.

Bruh the amount of effort Larian Studions is putting into Baldur's Gate 3 that game is going to be QUALITY INCARNATE. You can be not interested in it but you don't talk trash about it because it's absolutely flawless.

It's one of those genres I admire from afar but struggle to get into. I've played a few hours of divinity original sin 2 and was impressed but I stopped for some reason.
@@DayFul I think that's understandable. I played it for about 65 from what I remember. There was a hell of a lot more to the game, but the fact of the matter is games have come a long way since that released and it simply takes more to immerse people now. I think I was pulled away by another game and didn't return. The gameplay loop, story telling and worldbuilding however was genuinely top-notch. Really satisfying and thoughtful. I think if you're a fan of any type of fantasy/rpg genre you should really take the plunge with Baldur's Gate 3
I love CRPGs, Divinity, Pillars, the classic Infinity Engine games, but something about the look of BG3 feels off to me. I think the characters are too small compared to the environments, so it does look like an MMO (smaller characters is a hack to make the world feel bigger).
I am a huge fan of Larian (don't know anything about D&D tho)... but honestly, the graphics are not looking good, it has a weird resemblance with Dragon Age, the PS4 generation could easily run a port of this game, but they are going to force it as a "nextgen" game. Besides the visuals and the dice gameplay (not a fan of "luck" mechanics, not at all), everything else is looking great indeed (as always, Larian just delivers)
Capcom without a doubt stole this whole state of play when that disappointment at the end was the meant to be the highlight.

@@pwyll63627 Rocksteady innovated and reinvigorated modern action adventure combat and metroidvania games with the Batman games. To see them drop something that looks like a live service Fortnite esque game where the DC rogues gallery is reduced to people jumping around with guns is massively disappointing imo
The story looks great though to give credit where it's due. I will probably get it day 1 or release window just to see what happens after Arkham Knight's mediocre finale and story.

Capcom saved this. Though I'm probably gonna get Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections months after release for $20.
I will sit through the 8 hours of super ratings if he does it for a Storm game. Those supers can be amazing, and I would love to hear Max's thoughts on them.
It's a shame the state of play just ENDED after the RE4 trailer, I was expecting more.
Max just blew my mind with that Deborah Wilson recognition. I used to watch MAD all the time when I was a kid, no Idea how I didn't recognize her. God I'm getting old.
Yes, the PSVR2 has realtime eye tracking that is near instant. It's used for variable foveated rendering, some menus are controlled entirely with your eyes, and I'm sure we'll see other uses as well.
I would like to imagine stuff like a horror game that knows where you're looking and can use that to create more intense scenarios.

Max taking a huge shit on Baldur's Gate was not what I expected.
As a mega Naruto fan I'm so down for a Ninja Storm rate the supers that would be awesome I predict a lot of low score since unfortunately a lot of characters have had the same bland ultimates rehashed since Storm 2 but some of the Storm 3 and 4 originals Ultimates are god damn fire my favourites being Naruto and Hinata's two team up attacks
The blinking-controlled eye tracker gameplay would be great for a Doctor Who survival horror game with Weeping Angels.
Seeing Naruto in a Max thumbnail is something.
I feel crazy when I say I liked a good majority of the things shown off here. VR isnt my thing but understand there's people who genuinely enjoy these games. I'm very excited to play these new indie titles and the Capcom stuff is amazing. This also 100% sold me and my friends on Suicide Squad. I do like Max's reaction tho. Its a nice change of pace from all the nonstop negativity I see for games that aren't out yet
Same, despite all the negativity out there for Suicide Squad, this new gameplay footage has totally hooked me. Feel like I'm one of the few people that actually thinks the gameplay looks super fun.
@@benjamingiddens6758 because it shouldn’t have taken 9 years to come up with a crackdown clone with a gear system to bloat the grind. Expected a little more from Rocksteady but alas no king rules forever.
Yeah I don't really get all the extreme negativity around the Suicide Squad game. It looks like a lot of fun. I think most people made up their mind to not like it before we even saw any gameplay just because it took a while to come out and the words "live service" were being thrown around.
Loved how you reacted to Resident Evil. Those were my reactions too. Felt like a kid again. Cannot wait for that game already!
Due to the success of Storm, you get to play that dope-ass DBZ game.
Don't sleep on the Storm games. They are fantastic and they also have the BEST QTE Cut-scene ever done ever.
Destiny is much better for the story, the problem is that it’s very rewarding if you’ve stuck with the game since D1, but is difficult to understand if you aren’t a fan. Everyone in the Destiny community is currently hyped as hell because we are at the equivalent of Avengers: Infinity War -> it’s the penultimate battle of the entire Solar System

Street fighter and resident evil coming out this year is Soo hype, the only thing that could make this even better is if they confirmed the next devil may cry
10:56 ah, the age old dumpster-fire question. Fan boys will always go to bat for their own favorite, but at this point they are different games. Destiny 2: fps, paid expansions with a f2p "trial" for it's gameplay, consistent updates. Warframe: 3rd person shooter, f2p at it's core, technically still in "open beta", depends on premium currency purchases to fund new content and the in-game economy, very inconsistent updates. Spent thousands of hours on both, but have shifted to D2 for the consistence. Will re-install WF when Duviri Paradox drops, but until then I've lost interest in farming new gear or cosmetics.
Pretty much same. So hyped for Lightfall.

I’m not trying to sound rude but it seemed like max didn’t like anything except for street fighter and re4. Which is fine, but I thought the other games looked pretty cool. Then again I’m not good with reading sarcasm.

man, its weird seeing another Naruto game after so long. its just a compilation essentially, but man what i wouldnt give to see a new Clash of Ninja style game. those were so damn fun in comparison.
The Suicide squad looks very good, could turn out like Guardians of the Galaxy game. Max really enjoyed that game.

Suicide squad looks cool but it picked a bad time to release with SF6, Diablo 4 and FF16 coming right after. June is looking like one of the most utterly ridiculous game release windows in recent memory.
Good point. I didn’t really consider that myself but yea lots of high profile releases around it. The games you mentioned are some of the most hyped games in recent memory. It’s just one of those things where in a year this stacked with games it’s hard to pick a good release window for it. I remember originally suicide squad was a 2022 game before it got pushed back

I definitely think the PSVR needs some on rails shooters like Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles or The Darkside Chronicles , House Of The Dead, Panzer Dragoon ect.. while those wouldn't get me hyped I do think it would be big for PSVR2
What I would more then likely be down for is T2: Judgement Day, that Jurassic Park VR arcade machine game, Enter Gungeon: House of the Gundead, a duck hunt ripoff (since they can't just do DH lol).. stuff like that I think would help sales a nice bit they need to just look at what's happening in the VR games that you see in arcade stores & bring those to home VR if possible

Man all the VR games look so bland. How can I get hyped enough to buy your new hardware when all the games look like college school projects with bland characters, goofy art direction and on rails gameplay.

Gotham Knights had soured my tastebuds but thankfully Rocksteady got me excited for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Between Destiny and Warframe, Destiny has the better, less grindy content.
Warframe is significantly more F2p friendly, but the grind is borderline UNBEARABLE
Absolutely. Love both of them, but Destiny is my jam and I have just been intimidated by the grind and stuff in warframe after the story stuff.
