saw your vid and purchased 5 ! l do have one issue that maybe you could help me with...l have set up a camera in a window looking out and at night l find the IF red light will reflect of the inside of the window and l am no longer able to see thru the window to the outside...if l turn the IR off l can once again see thru the window and with the outside porch lite illuminated l can see very well the porch area..any ideas?
Sounds like you have found the solution yourself.... In the settings for the ir lights it says turn them off if using thru a window.... If you have any of the v3 cameras try with night vision off....I run all my cameras with night vision off and I live in bfe....so no artifical lights around
I didn’t get a sticker, but I still love my camera. I just bought it and have to figure out some things. Question, I have an iPhone and my husband has an android. Can we both set up the camera on our phone and get the pictures we want?
Well I got a magnet from harbor freight Ether 40 or 90 lbs hold magnet drilled the center hole just a tad bigger Used the supplies screw with the Wyze pan 3v and pulled down my old Wyze V3 leaving the metal disk with 3M backing and just put the pan V3 in place works great
Nice!! Yeah I think they kinda screwed up with how they made the mounting for the camera. People are having to think outside the box to get them setup.
07/12/23 I have a question. I have 6 Wyze Camera, Wyze camera V3 pro & pan V3. 2 days ago, we lost the internet, and then it came back after calling our provider . When it came back, none of my cameras worked . I called Wyze & they said we don't support 5G. I told them what you mean? I have been having the same service. Nothing has been changed , & they keep saying the same thing. They don't support 5G on these Cameras. But I have been having 5G over a year. Do you have any feedback for me, 🙏
So they are talking about a "5GHz WiFi Connection". Most routers/modems (Definitely the ones from the internet provider) support a 2.4GHz Wifi which is a little slower but reaches further and a 5GHz WiFi which doesn't reach as far as 2.4GHz but it is faster in speed. Your device will know which one is which. So if you only have 1 signal it will connect to the 2.4GHz WiFi. If you have 2 Signals (Like a Home Wireless 2.4 and Home Wireless 5G) just make sure you are connected to the 2.4 Wireless signal. I myself use a Nest WiFi Pro System which has both but only 1 signal. Since the Wyze cameras can only connect to the 2.4GHz, they connect to it automatically with no issues because they cant connect to the 5GHz wifi or "5G" as some call it.

Most definitely. I should have my Wyze Cam OG video up tomorrow and then the Wyze Cam OG Telephoto up when it arrives in 3-4 days. Maybe over the weekend or early next week.
One thing to mention. Halfway through your video, the cameras two blocks was knocked down to one vlock, just the camera and not the speaker. Wanted to know how to mount the whole camera
Mine just showed up out of the blue never got a shipping notification Only things I don’t like is when you go to full screen on a iPad you can not control the camera (they need to fix that ) Second is the camera moves then the picture catches up I have great wifi and it’s only maybe 10 feet from the router
hahaha Im not sure I trust it myself lol, but we keep stuff in our bedroom that if it ever went missing I would want to know what happened... plus... You can have video footage of some great moments without filming yourself. 😂😂😂
So, one of the most important thing you didn/t mention is that cable is so proprietary..and those are meant to be installed mostly on ceilings and ceilings outdoors thus requiring extensions..and this should have had a pigtail end..otherwise messy connection...
I placed an order, got a confirmation number. After a few minutes they just cancelled my order telling me that it was suspected it was fraudulent even though the bank accepted it and got a confirmation number. I do not trust them anymore.
This actually happen to a few people when ordering this camera. I saw it in my Wyze Group on Facebook. Not sure what happen but a few people had that experience... Some for a refund and still got the camera. 🤣
Every time I order from wyze themselves I almost always get 1.75 of what I ordered.... First package shows up always missing something so they send a whole new 2nd package Great customer service....I guess Lmao
I saw your post about that. That was pretty shocking. Glad Wyze replaced it for free... I do wish it would of hit it in the front. That camera footage would of been golden lol.

It would detect sound, and you can get a notification but it would say it's a "baby crying" like a baby monitor would.

Is it wireless?
No, it has to be plugged into power.
Does the Cam Pan V3 camera require Cam Plus to work? or can you use only the Cam Plus Lite?
It doesn't require it. You can use an SD card and just skip Cam Plus all together. This camera won't work with Cam Plus Lite at all.

It's worth it. Replace an old V2 or maybe move a v3 to a different location and put one of these in its place.
