I’m okay. I just have ups and downs like everybody does. Since my stroke and surgery my downs have been worse and with Candice gone I’m just learning how to deal with it on my own. I’ll be alright.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if you didn't. I'm so proud of you for making the video anyway. Having down days is perfectly ok, reaching out if needed is perfectly ok. Missing your loved ones is perfectly ok. Big hug my friend like the physical obstacles the mental ones are tough too but you got this and if you need any help we can figure that out too.

It's never a bad thing to miss the ones you love. I think it's a big thing to be able to admit you're sad when they're not there, and be honest with how you feel. The internet buds are here with you, and I'm certainly one who can't wait to watch these and grow with you.

Seriously though, the fact that you made a video at all speaks volumes to your strength and progress. Sometimes just having an outlet and getting the feelings in the opens helps. Having dealt with depression ever since the Air Force, I understand what you're going through. You made the video anyway and you shared your feelings with those who love you. You're winning my friend. I'd also point out that when anyone struggles in life, they always want that which gives them comfort. It makes me happy that Candice is that comfort for you. I hope getting to spend some extra time with your side of the family has been nice, even though you're missing Candice. Thank you again for sharing in the video this week. Your strength inspires me.
