- A video following myself and my son on a trip to the Classic Car Show at the NEC driving my son's Morris Minor. On the way we meet up with some other "Young members" of the Morris Minor Owners Club, and continue our journey together.

The Morris Minor is a lovely, reliable old car, and the main 1 in this video is certainly a great example! That sound from the exhaust, mingled with the engine when accelerating is brilliant! There's no other sound like that distinctive rasp from the exhaust during the gear change. It's incredible that you overtook a sports car on the motorway! Perfect driving on your way to the meet up by the way, good concentration on the road :-) I had a Morris 1000 saloon once; it was 'Trafalgar blue' and 4 door, just like 1 of the ones featured here. I'm glad the people in the Moggie gathering are so enthusiastic and interested in the car. I enjoyed the bit of convo :-)

Great video ,my partner has a convertible 69 Morris 1000 but we only take it out once a year for a local classic car rally , but after watching the video I will try and get out with it a little more.

At 4:48 was that Toyota driver tooting at you? I hate Toyota drivers and found them to be the most ignorant drivers on the road. I drive for a living so have the experiece to say that.
to be fair the minor did pull out right in front of him at a junction where he should have given way, causing to Toyota to slam on
