I really have to say how amazing this class is. Other instrument library companies should do the same.

Great stuff as always! In Nucleus would you typically just load multiple instances of the Violins patches and just declare one as the first and another as the second? From what I can remember they aren’t separated by default as some other libraries have. Should you vary the modern/classic mix to get a different sound?

When you load up a violins patch, if you look at the bottom of the instrument you'll see a little button that says "2nd Violins". If you click it it'll turn yellow, and you can then use that patch as the 2nd violins (it uses slightly different samples, which stops the 2nd violins phasing with the 1st and also gives them a very slightly different tonality). Hope that helps!

I really hope to see an episode about reverb. I'm currently trying to find a good default for my strings and percussion especially. As always great video👍

I’ve heard great things of LiquidSonics in general, especially Seventh Heaven for orchestral sounds. They allow 14-day demo for most of their products, in case if you’re interested in trying them out yourself!

the best advice is to hire a teacher who studied many scores of music and get the musical understanding assap. So you get the best of this technology

I gave in to the urge eventually. Absolutely no regrets. The quality that you get for the price is really incredible, especially when you consider that it even includes things such as soloists, a harp, and choir. And it’s very resource efficient, which was a requirement for me.
