This isn't depression, this isn't sadness, this is peace.
I couldn't agree more ♥
Serenity.
Exactly, everyone always thinks that I'm sad and miserable and depressed because I like classical music ,rain and darkness when in reality that is just my idea of peace and it's what makes me feel happy.
"Have peace, darling. It'll be alright. Remember, only time will tell."
"But... What if time tells me a story I don't want to hear?"

some people think that sunny days are the only days that are beautiful. I think all weather is beautiful, no matter how stormy, rainy, or sunny it is. Beauty lies in every single thing in Nature.
I really feel like the dark academia genre wouldn't exist in it's current form of we weren't spoonfed healthy doeses of Harry Potter media and Vincent Price dramas from a young age...
I agree to a certain extent, but it would still definitely be a thing, just in a different form perhaps. I for example believe dark academia rather originates from the apotheosis of the classics, tradition, elite universities, etc... The Secret History by Donna Tartt for example describes this very well. For many of us, dark academia also gives a feeling of nostalgia, because for example in my case I grew up in a town and school that looked like all of these dark academia images so for me personally it just brings me back to when I was young. So I believe it's different for everyone I suppose
Super cringe
I think both of those actually muddle the genre rather than expanding upon them. Both are derivative and rudimentary.
Watch einstein in national geographic and alan turing imitation game, all great scientist potrayed in nearly dark academia, its not about fantasies like harry potter all the time. Btw i love hogwarts hehe ❤
Btw hogwarts is inspired by dark academia universities like oxford, cambridge etc... where all great scientist studied in dark academia theme environment. If you watch the documentaries harry potter producers roam around the world universities to look for inspiration in hogwarts architecture.
Am I the only one that likes to be sad, bc it’s gotten to a point where it doesn’t hurt? It’s peaceful, more melancholy than anything else. I’m not depressed. You could say I’m consistently living life in my main character moment. Romanticizing everything. In fact I’m not sad! I’m happy, but calm. Like the feeling of walking on a beach at night and being mesmerized by the sunsets beauty. Or being in the trees and watching life move around you while you’re still. Or sitting in a parked car while slow rain is coming down. I’m not “sad” I’m a mix of melancholy, pure bliss, satisfaction, love, heartache, and longing. Am I the only one?
You're definitely not the only one.
No you're not the only one, every human at their core feels like this. This is what makes us humans, consciousness.
Too much drama man.

Walking at night, in a chilly autumn weather, among people who are talking in foreign language u don't understand... Beautiful mixture of feelings
I just submitted my maths assignment at 11:55, it's now midnight, uni is great, and now I'm gonna read dostoevsky for the next hour. Living the life guys.
I hope you passed your maths assignment
To everyone who's studying with this music:
Checklist:
• A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone
• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.
•Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy
Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book.
I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight
DISCLAMER: I did not create this, I found it on other playlists. I still wanna help people out and get them through any stress (:
These iconic influences have woven themselves into the fabric of our cultural imagination, shaping the very essence of the genre and providing us with a captivating and nostalgic journey into the realms of academia tinged with a touch of darkness.
I might be an odd one but there's something about nostalgia that makes me feel a mix of emotions. It's not a depressing state but rather a diff kind of happiness if that makes sense. I was watching Edward Scissors hands and although I wasn't crazy about the whole movie it was still beautiful and nostalgic, same with Harry Potter and Dorian Gray; I know I'm not the only one who feels this way❤
Found this and i can't stop listening to it while studying for my finals 😭❤️
Good luck!! Slay those finals
Same! Good luck!
Good luck with your finals!! 🤍
Thanks to all of you guys ❤️😭
Wishing the same to each one of u!!
Y'all should try it at 1.5 speed. I've found a new way of listening to classical music when I'm going to write!
Im really gratefull for this compilation of (for me) not very much known composers, thank you Helder!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for the kind words ❤️
*In the melancholic strains of sad, sentimental music, I find solace in the shared experience of human fragility, as each chord resonates with the universal ache of the soul*
It can get really hard for me to sleep sometimes,my mind goes so fast.this play list always helps.thank you for making it 🙏😊
I had to go through a particular situation almost a year ago now. At that time, I didn't think too much of it. However as i was listening to this music i randomly started to think about that situation. I now realize what had happened and it broke my heart. I'm still sitting here thinking about how it didn't occur to me back then. I have found a new sense of grief i haven't ever experienced before. Perhaps I wan't supposed to understand it back then... it's so painful to just feel such sadness so randomly. The other person has been going through this situation for years now and i hate that it took me all this time to figure it out. What makes it even more difficult is that no matter how hard i think there isn't a solution that would solve everything.
I lost my best friend 2 years ago in a car accident and this songs bring me back to the times when we walk together along the darkest sides of the city, along the train tracks watching the moon and the stars, talking about living the town and live in a place like the image in the background. I miss you all my days Amira. Thank you so much for this Helder 🖤 what is the name of song 02:00?
it's 'what the rain whispered softly'
I feel serenity when I hear I can concentrate and study and feel very calm thank you for this masterpiece 🖤

“La música llega a tu corazón… pero la clásica llega a tu alma”❤
I think I'm having my first crush as an adult male. It feels more like a chemical reaction than anything else and it's kinda making me feel silly. I don't know why but this playlist makes me not think about that and I can just go empty headed.
This gives me harry potter/ fantastic beasts vibes with the building picture
Keep it going.. this music gives me good rythme and helps me complete my studies efficiently..love it❤

Autunno e' : calma , caldi colori , tramonti infiammati dagli ultimi bagliori di luci insperate . Dolci musiche che accompagnano la conoscenza della seconda meta' di un anno, che volge al tramonto.
