I went to the SCOAN in 2014 with my uncle who had tuberculosis that the hospitals tried and failed to treat, and he was healed after being prayed for by the man of God, he is still alive and strong today

This is difficult to digest because I met TB Joshua myself. I had a sickness doctors could not heal, he prayed for me, Jesus backed up his word, and I was healed. More than 10 years later I'm still healed. I can't refute that. If he were not a true man of God, even if it were magic, bad fruits always show, if it were fake, why am I still healed? Even as a Christian, I still don't understand why these people think letting some rich guy lead a church based on his ideologies of the Bible and then "perform miracles" was a genius idea. Feels like they're worshipping a human rather than God, which is, mind you, the main focus of Christianity (and any other religion in that manner).

It's a gradual, subtle process. I was involved in a small church that slowly got weird. It was so gradual I hardly noticed until it was really late in the game.
No one wakes up one random day and says, "I'm going to go join Heaven's Gate" or "Let's just put THIS guy in charge for no good reason." It takes a long time. The sneaky, subtle way of our enemies is much more insidious than the overt problems.
The performance of miracles (or, the workings of a false teacher by the aid of something other than Christ) has been documented and it is easy to believe that a person is God if you don't have the Holy Spirit. Even the Bible says the Antichrist will use these to fool those who aren't helped by God.
It is certainly nothing new; if you want an older example, look up William Branham.

My biggest blessing as a child is having parents who were pastors. I was taught to know the Lord for myself and by myself, not through anyone. My dad told me when I asked him whether he thought TB Joshua was real, that only God knows and only God can judge. We didn't watch him growing up. We just stayed away. If this is true, God have mercy. I still hope it isn't true for the sake of young believers with budding faith. If it is true, may God heal all affected.

I attended MFM in glasgow and it was EXACTLY like this. Their headquarters was also in lagos.
I found it because at the time i was really interested in a minister called Pastor Stephen Darby....he speaks alot about his many visits to TBJosh and he praised him so high so it now tells me his was a false doctrine too.
Scary that i let that minister whom everyone called "daddy", lay hands on me. I stayed over in that church fasting and praying during a 4 day deliverance programme and he would put us in a trance. Looking back in my naevity thought it was the holy spirit i was expriencing but now i know it was a type or hypnosis/trance. It was brainwashing... something never sat right with me after the 3rd day, i felt like holy spirit was giving me discernment and i decided not to go back for the 4th and final day.
Its most definitely a cult. Scary. People are all brainwashed and if they believe anything else you feel guilty.
I remember one morning we stayed up doing a prayer vigil until 3am and got a few hours sleep in a dorm upstairs with dirty matresses....we were told to be back in the main hall at 6.30am and were presented with a tv which was live streaming a ceremony live from lagos headquarters with their general overseer (who was worshipped, similar to tbjosh) and i remember thinking it was so surreal. It felt like being in some sort of prison camp or north korea.

I am not sure what is false or true about TB Joshua but as an upcoming Minister of God, I have watched people call me names even though I am a nobody yet. Even those who have benefited from my prayer.
Just yesterday, I reminded a doubting relative how God healed her heart condition through me. She didn't deny the fact but she said, "I am not sure if it was God or the Devil but I am truly healed."
I felt so bad but became calm when I remembered that even Christ was accused of many things.
Sometimes I wish I can be uncalled by God.

My mother was diagnosed with a collapsed right lung in 2019 scheduled for an operation. She refused to go through with the operation and we went to the synagogue, she was prayed for and came back. She never underwent the operation and she's fine and working today with both lungs in perfect condition.

If you truly have the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, you would have asked Him and He will show you the truth. Hi, for the prophecies that happened it can be explained by a spirit of divination. The devil can say true things but twist them subtily just like he did in eden. Even Paul had a situation where a young servant with a spirit of divination was following them around saying "these men can to preach the good news". Thats why we need great discernment. Allnd for the supposedly true miracles that happened, the same great discernement must be used. We probably take the TV videos for proofs but we dont know about these people in real life. Later in the documentary it is said that people asking for prayers were demanded to exagerate their symptoms in order to be healed. It was also said that they would receive medication whilst staying in the emergency rooms of the SCOAN. Moreover, "miraculous" healings happen in some other religions. It is easy to replace a spirit of sickness by another. That's why although outside miracles can be deceitful and we are told to examine the FRUIT of an individual, not His works ! Fruit of love, joy, peace, gentleness, patience, long suffering etc. These can hardly be teste through a screen. That's why those victims testimonies are valuable : they lived with him for more than a decade, they saw his behaviour first hand in stage and behind the stage, their accusations are an examination of the true character of this man which is clearly NOT Christlike of HEART.

I had loss of normal lumbar lordosis in 2013. Someone gave me annointing water who had come from SCOAN and till date I am walking in perfect healing. I even conceived after several years of trying. Nothing can brainwash me he was a good man very giving. I am personally a philanthropist because of him. I don’t see a person in need and fail to help.
