In practice, without bringing in any other buffs (so pure self buffs), Dantes outpunches Jalter with about three burn stacks, or two and a def down. The second *any* support gets added, Dantes starts not needing any burns or def downs at all. The power of good steroids that stack well with each other, perfectly showcased in one KUHAHAHAHA kit. It's really pretty absurd. He's amazing at burst damage but is good at slower play/stall too, by virtue of just having a stun that's absolutely guaranteed without debuff immunity. Sakurai either pulled some favors or they just really wanted to sell the "effectively LB Monarch level" of Dantes in this chapter.

Medusa is just a potent ST Saber, Dantès is infinitely better. He is literally THE current best ST in the game, even above the likes of Arthuria Berserker, Kriemhild and Vlad.

No, he is a good Quick ST with 50% charge and no AoE buffs. You Can easily get similar or better Options, some roles he could be used Like Raids/1T you are better off using f2p buster STs like Iori. Like unless you have no STs with 50% charge and one that refunds like erice you don't really get much from him. Decent but nothing crazy outside CQs from what I saw. If you like the character it is worth it, if you get him you will be able to use without much problem, but its not like it is more special then getting Other 50% charge STs.

He is basically, as of now, the best ST in the whole game, surpassing even the likes of Arthuria Berserker, Kriemhild and Vlad, as well as the queen that had been ruling Avengers since some time now, Erice. Basically ignore the dude above, he is just a recurrent brainless weirdo that appears in the community to talk about "how the game is only farming, and nor bosses, nor CQ, nor card animations matter, because all we use is our NPs for farming". Roll for him meta-wise even if you have a highly invested Erice or ST Berserker, because even outside damage comparisons, he is still an amazing unity because of his guaranteed and spammable stun, and debuff immunity.
