Thanks Jay. I wasn’t sure - initially looked like it might be too small but once I removed an inch thick pad of moss… I also have three more really lovely pots coming from different sellers on Etsy due to land any day… 😊
I’m still looking for a dark grey/brown stippled oval pot to suit my larger Chinese Elm. I will definitely be on the lookout for that at Doncaster. Still on their way: another round pot for my Dawn redwood, a pot for my extreme bend picea, and a deep Chinese pot with an embossed animal face for my azalea. Several trees are getting an upgrade this year.
Wohha you don't chopstick your dirt into the pot?? It takes me at least 10 minutes to chopstick my tree's into a pot even one that small., that's interesting.. maybe I go a bit over bord but I like my soil completely packed into the pot so if I'm in a rush I can water without dirt washing out. The pot tree combined looks amazing tho!!
Jason, the audio was all over the place during this video which isn’t like you! Normally your editing and sound is 👌 hope your not rushing out content and still enjoying the process. Keep up the great content.
Thanks and apologies if the sound troubles you. The spoken audio continues to be a problem and always my biggest battle - this was a new Bluetooth mic I have used a couple of times and I’m not overly happy with the result. It’s also entirely possible it ran out of power before I finished filming which might be why the audio seems lower at the very end. There are two in the set, I will see how much mic 2 fares next time. Otherwise I’m looking for an alternative and definitely open to suggestions.
Are you moving in fast motion?? Or are You just really moving fast dammmmmm I've never s÷÷n someone move so fast opening a particular package... you must really really really like bonsai pots.. I don't blame you hehehehe 😂
Nice, I liked the blooper too!!
Thanks Nigel. That’s my other half David being an idiot thinking he is funny and trying to sabotage my filming 😆
I think you got the right tree into your new pot in this video.
Thank you Jeff 🙏
Love the new pots Jason. I can't believe it is finaly warm enough there to start repotting. We still have about a month of heavy freezes to go.
Great pots! 😍 Spruce looks great in its new home! 👍🐦💙

Lovely pot and tree.👍
Thank you so much Bob 😊
Lovely tree and pot combination mate. That spruce will enjoy it in there for a few years I'm sure.
Hope so Tony 👍

Thanks Bruce 👍
What type of tree is that?? Its beautiful.
This is a picea abies / spruce tree - the typical conical Christmas tree widely available in nurseries and garden centres.
@@TheBonsaiGarden WOW, thanks for the very quick reply.

The only chopsticks I have are for eating and would snap in no time. I definitely need to find something suitable…
