I recommend AB+ Red Sea, and Brightwell revive. Stuff is great for recovering LPS and soft corals. It doesn't do much for SPS. I brought back hammers using both together that almost died and frogspawn.
I also know the pain you went through I almost had a tank crash hydrogen sulfide. I was lucky to be there I did loose a fish. Reefing can be unpredictable and we can only do our best. I try and do what is easiest now. I dont do any more SPS because too hard to keep. If I were you I would have just one tank.
Uh-oh! I'm so sorry for your loss. I feal so bad. Keeping coral looks so hard, and coming back to a devastating situation like this is very stressful, but that's how we learn and grow!♡
"SEMANGAT!! " this is a word to give strength, hi I'm from Indonesia, thank you for inspiring me, I've watched all your videos, and I'm amazed by all your aquariums.. thank you
Sorry for the crashed tank !! Hope the saved corals will recover fast ! Anyway, thank you to be honest and also show what can go wrong and the not so fun part of the hobby.... All the best !
@@arsenioseslpodcast3143 I 100% agree with you, these fish are being babied way harder than they used to, I heard a reefer talking about how 20 years ago none of this stuff was around like testing water etc
So sorry to hear about your tank! Pretty sure most reefers have crashed a tank. In smaller systems especially, little mistakes can have big consequences. My nano tank crashed earlier this year, and I lost about half my corals. At the end of the day, it was a good learning experience. Hoping your corals are recovering well!
Very much appreciated sharing the other side of reef success. would be great to see some of these from other reefers. helpful to know what to plan ahead.
Love the setups specifically the 40 breeder I have 2 reef setups and 2 fresh h20 set-up. About 2 months ago I had a crash in my 50 gallon low boy which for some reason all my prize torch corals perished except for my cabbage and pulsating xenias survived . My pride on joy was a dinner plate torch died 1st which actually brought tears to my 👀. 😢 Then my freaking 100 gln 6ft long set-up sprung a leak I was f pissed and almost gave up. But I drained her placed all my fish in about 3 brute containers and sealed it up. Gave me the opportunity to use muriatic acid on my live rock which was invested with aptasia that came on a coral from my LFST. Dipped all my corals to get rid of them. lesson learned. Dumped my old sand as it was also teaming with them as well. Started all over with 75 lbs of live sand ,recurred my rock and alls good now. Reefing has so so many ups & downs its a hobby not for everyone. My 18yrs as a reefer must say turn me into a scientist with a lot of reading and videos from Bulk reef supply on TH-cam. Just subbed your channel.Happy reefing mate.
I am guessing higher nitrate levels helped the soft corals a lot. They do well at higher nitrate levels than sps and LPS. The issue with tanks with fluctuating parameters back and forth between high and low nitrates is that all corals don't do well. If it is stable at high nitrates then softies do well. Stable low nitrates then usually both can do well if you watch the softies closely to avoid bottoming out nitrates. Anyway man I know you will recover well from this so good luck
Sucks about the tank, but enjoyed the more personal video with you talking, I think you should do more of these. Did you test your nutrients in your crashed tank? It would be good to know for sure that was the problem .
Oh pfff echt heel zuur. Zo treurig.
Ideally have someone check up in person, or maybe install a webcam? Make sure your tank is in top condition. But in the end, this was bad luck I guess.
*It’s worth mentioning that I was away from Friday to Sunday. So short and yet this catastrophic event happened.*
Hope you can stop this from happening in the future!

I also recommend UV sterilizer for Dino. It kills it and it cant reproduce.

was wondering if it happened literally within 1 day, still that is quite a short period of time.
It's nice to see you face fully :) and I hope you will rebuild the tank very beautiful again. 😀
That sucks. 😢 glad you have been able to help a few to recover ❤️ it was really nice to "meet" you though.
Uh-oh! I'm so sorry for your loss. I feal so bad. Keeping coral looks so hard, and coming back to a devastating situation like this is very stressful, but that's how we learn and grow!♡
I am not gonna keep anymore sps. LPS and softies are easier for me. :)

hi I'm from Indonesia, thank you for inspiring me, I've watched all your videos, and I'm amazed by all your aquariums.. thank you
Thank you!! ☺️
Sorry about the crash, as well as the goby. Best of luck with getting the tank up an running again. The three tanks really look great together.
I feel your pain, buddy. This hobby can be very unforgiving at times. Thanks for sharing
I feel your pain. I had a 38 gallon tank. It inexplicably crashed also. You got this. Love watching your videos.
I see you the first time in front of the cam, nice to meet you 🙏☺️
Haha thanks! 😆
Sorry for the crashed tank !! Hope the saved corals will recover fast ! Anyway, thank you to be honest and also show what can go wrong and the not so fun part of the hobby.... All the best !
Oh man, this is really sad. I am sorry for you. It is always awfull to lose animals we keep.........
That's definitely one of the reason why I'm on the fence about getting a reef tank ... Even though it looks like an incredible hobby.
@@arsenioseslpodcast3143 I 100% agree with you, these fish are being babied way harder than they used to, I heard a reefer talking about how 20 years ago none of this stuff was around like testing water etc
sorry to see that.. everything will be recovered soon
Awe man that sucks! Looking forward to seeing where itll go from here tho
Sorry for your loses my friend, I look forward to the tanks new life.
Nice to see you!!! You'll rebuild it again in no time. Don't worry!
That's unfortunate Danny my heart sank as I read the header. Hope to see that tank bounce back. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Sorry man. I know this sucks. We've all been there, but that doesn't make it any easier. Good luck.
ah danny my man, sorry to see this instead of the usual amazing tank content
Very much appreciated sharing the other side of reef success.
would be great to see some of these from other reefers.
helpful to know what to plan ahead.
The good news Danny is you get to start a brand new scape, brand new is good! Sorry about your crash but I can’t wait to see what you do with it!
Feel sorry for your loss! Nice video tho!
So sorry for your loss, Danny💙🐟
So sorry for the loss man. I’m on vacation rn so hopefully my reef does well.
Sorry to see , all the best 👍🇬🇧👌
Nice to meet you!!
So painful and sad 😭 Hopefully things can only get better now

Hey Dan, damn sad to hear that your tank crashed. Hopefully you can get it up to speed and come back stronger 💪🏻
It's crazy...crashes always seem to hapoen whenevere were away...Mine also crashed when I was gone for a coupoe days....
Sorry about the crash.Have u ever thought about a acropora dominant tank?
you are not having much luck lately hope things get better

It's an opportunity to set it better. 💪💪💪💪
Keep ya head up bro it'll be okay
Thats sucks man.. Thats why you should run a sump with a skimmer..
That's rough dude
Look into pitho crabs if you can. They'll eat bubble algae and have a better reputation than emeralds.
Thanks for the tip!
Hi
One question
Its long ago but did. you know witch lightsettings you run on the Maxspect led
Your 40g is stunning! Do you have a video on the tank specs & corals you used?

Inderdaad, grote waterwissel gedaan?
Sucks about the tank, but enjoyed the more personal video with you talking, I think you should do more of these.
Did you test your nutrients in your crashed tank? It would be good to know for sure that was the problem .
What kind of tanks are these? Size, Type etc. ?
Sorry man.
Liked because I'm sympathizing.
Sorry mate
Hey Danny, I think it is good time to set up a freshwater aquarium with the crashed tank.
Hehe.. 😝

Ah, heel jammer!! 😕
very sad because I just experienced
Thats the reason i dont have a saltwater Aquarium i woudnt be able to go on a holliday anymore cause i would never let my animals alone
Also, do you not have filters on your tanks?!? I don’t see any pumps other than power heads.
Do you have Balonia in the principal aquarium .
Hey Danny, iv been wondering for the last 18months, what cameras do you use for your tanks? Are you filming in the tank or all from outside?
Sorry to hear Danny, I am going away for three days myself what should I do to prepare for my trip in June
Ideally have someone check up in person, or maybe install a webcam? Make sure your tank is in top condition. But in the end, this was bad luck I guess.
It happened to us unfortunately.
Where is the filter
Just convert that tank into a fresh water tank with shell dwellers 😝
🤣🤣
😭😭😭😢😢😢😢❤
I know right! :(
Restart bro
May I ask about the tank dimensions?🙂
Isnt dis thank is the one that crashed before, because anemone?
YES! Nothing but bad luck with this tank!
@@DannysAquariums that was really sad,i have an idea how if you turn it to macro algae tank?
🤜🤛😓
It’s sad losing corals! :(
toang quá
Take the palys back to your lfs.
I may sell them on my website for corals: www.dannysaquariums.com/! 😉
Do you not have any fish
I have quite a few fish, just not in that aquarium.
