I have listened to this song, this album more than any other album in my life. It is pure therapy to my soul. I am so grateful to this music. This album pulled me through the most challenging years of my life. I still turn to it and all their music often.
This song brings the haunting memories to the surface over and over. The day I can place this song in my background is the day I have found peace. Until that day… it plays and plays and plays .

"disappearing" made me feel sad and joyfull at the same time. I´m a 68 years old Dane. From now on War on Drugs will be among my favourites along with Van Morrison, Tom Waits and others

This is such a beautiful track. I first heard the group when NPR played this album in its entirety and was blown away by the well-composed tracks and the album in its entirety. Perfection.
That drummer is insane i thought it was reverb but nah he's hitting all those.

The instrumentation is stunning, however I do sense Adam is pushing too hard with the vocals, he's a little off key on some of it, otherwise would have been stellar. Still LOVE this tune though...and them.
