When the Federation invaded and attacked them, the pilot used it to great ability, using a sniper's emplacement to down countless dropships and MS. The story is still ongoing in Gundam Thunderbolt, but that's about where the authors' at right now. I mean if Gundam Battle Operations 2 is a indicator of ground combat, every suit that has thrusters uses them for maneuvers, from rolling, dodging, accelerating, jumping, etc. Yeah the Gallus is not going to have a good time when it's enemies are zipping around on their thrusters

A quick note: The Schuzrum-Galluss was stated, in the novel or a manga, to have been heavily incomplete in its upgrades. It was supposed to be equipped with a backpack and a few other thrusters for space & jumping in Ground Combat. On top of actually having armor/thruster packs it could discard as needed. Edit: It should also be noted that the Schuzrum-galluss was meant to be a Ground MS with limited Space functionality. Mainly so it could fight inside colonies akin to the Kampfer.
How about a list of the most powerful systems in the franchise? Like Psychoframe tech or most GN drive based systems. And you could also list the drawbacks to them.
How about Alaya system with a limiter off? A cost of using it is losing control part of your body FOREVER. And that is not some low pay if i must said.... A true deal with a devil in Gundam series....

Also original GN Drive is not dangerous, GN Drive tau is the one dangerous. And Zero system is almost same with Alaya system limit off in some sense.... They bring too much information to the pilot more than they can handle. And it was dangerous condition for the pilot if they cant handle it. But if you are talking about the Risk and danger Alaya system is more dangerous than Zero system. Why you ask? Zero system only show you the information and future sight. If your brain and mental cant handle it, you get one knock-out. Bad luck you become crazy cause the information you seen and get... BUT... The Alaya system is different... At the first half is same(cant handle it then get a knock-out). But the scarier one is if you try to handle it and do a force limit off on it. Actually he’s a triple amputee… he lost both legs in episode III revenge of the sith & only his right hand in episode II attack of the clones while his left hand was still a human hand through all the episode movies. So… yeah… he technically still wouldn’t be able to pilot that high mobility Zaku II from Gundam Thunderbolt. Sorry to break it to you.

Some others I think are worth mentioning. Graze Ein was mentioned in earlier comments. The cockpit is your life support system and you are bound to the suit. Gaplant had a similar issue as the Tallgeese. The G-Forces would injure or kill anyone that wasn't a Newtype/Cyber-Newtype or Yazan Gable. The O had a control system that only Scirocco could actually use. If you could even get the thing to move at all, you wouldn't be able to control it. Should I throw the Death Army variants in here, because it means you're a reanimated corpse?

If I have to chose in an extremelly dire situation, I'd go Tallgeese or Pale Rider. Tallgeese can be circumvented by what you said and removing the HADES would make not make the Pale Rider any less than a high performance machine.
Technically pale rider have two variant who lake the hades system and still have pretty good hight performance without killing his pilot so yeah i personnaly prefer a pale rider without hades system.

I mean at least with the Reuse P Device outside the MS you could more easily dress as Darth Vader or Edward Elric. Kinda hard to do anything when you can't leave your MS. Maybe just drop him in a Gundam Fight.
To be fair any gundam in the wing series was not made for 'normal pilots' yet alone 'average person' :P Talgeese only manage to go head to head with wing and heavy-arms because it was Zechs using it and after a while Tallgeese was lagging behind Zach's reaction speed. If I would choose 'definitely not use as a normal person from wing it would be wing 0 and epyon since not only the machines were applying same deadly g force but the operating system was causing hallucinations
There is a in-universe dramatization where the 08th MS Team went into space and the Ez-8 got modified to work in space. And seeing as Blue Destiny Unit 2 and 3 were made from Gundam Ground Types, it probably wouldn't take too much to modify them.
Seems kinda weird in that Tallgeese clip the guy says the suit is moving so fast that they can't hit it yet it's moving down in what seems like a straight line. And most importantly BALLS!
I mean if it kept gaining speed at a rate that the spot there targeting computes were aiming would not be able to account for the insanely high increase in a way that the shells/beams they fired would not be able to be at the location that it aimed at by the time the tall-boy had already passed it.
I would love to see your take on some of the mechs from 40K, just for fun. Some of them can and do give their pilots literal stigmata, and others brainwash you to be more like your grandparents.
Minor little thing to add to THIS video, just as I did the one with the Devil Gundam. I read Blue Destiny, and it's very nice, but I think that it was never really intended to capture the soul of the Newtype programming it. They never knew, and they assumed that the girl that programmed it was just dead. Theoretically, if it hadn't absorbed her brain, the system would've activated a more controlled combat boost that could be used relatively safely...or become akin to a Zero System, which it was kinda' being already.
Imagine if the scientists in IBO just made a portable Alaya Vinyana jack so should you lose function of your limbs you can walk around connected to the system fixing that issue.
You know in specific situations I think the gallus could've been very capable. If they did multiple lines in the chest shoulders and in the wrists/fists I think it would've been deadly against colonies or large ships and even on land
Could the Gallus make sense as a high risk stealth unit? No thrusters or large power draws to light up sensors, and if it was a ghost, then it could be a lot more survivable. Have some redundant cables and a detachable deployment/retreat pack for propulsion, and you should be good.
Just how fast can you move that a computer cant track it? They have devices to track and destroy ICBMs today. Which are WAY faster. Also 9Gs isnt the most pilots have done. Pilots in i beloved the post wwii era launched off of short carriers and had to go under like 13 Gs when launching with the help of the carriers catapult.
The Gm Juggler could have been useful as a long range recon unit use the balls as scouts while it took cover in an asteroid field or wreckage to mark enemy units and protect them pilot from the enemy.

I would have chosen the RX 78. Because while Amuro got the most out of this suit, including the guncannon, guntank, and corefighter the RX 78 had some big flaws. First was that the vulcans and potential even its targeting computer weren't aligned properly. The mobility seems to drop while dealing with earths gravity. So while in a simulator you think you can handle this suit, once in the battlefield you find yourself very mistaken. Not to mention the catapult system it's launched with puts the pilot through too much g force and they become disoriented. We see all of these pop up when Sayla takes out the gundam and is nearly killed. Sayla as we later see is just as capable as Ryu, Kia, and Hiato, who get a great deal of performance out of corfighters, the guncannon, and guntank; I feel would have the same issues in the RX 78
Please give us more dangerous MS like the other EXAM using MS or the Unicorn/Banshee Gundam? You could argue that the Gundam Heavyarms was dangerous due to complete ammunition dependancy and lack of back up weapons.
If i have to choose between all of these i'll go with psycho zaku or its long name zaku 2 high mobility type reuse p device, i mean i needed to be a quadruple amputee but... At least im not GOING crazy or almost dying
Joke remark, but I'd say the Leo deserves an honorable mention. While it is versatile MS, it's reputation as a "mob suit" obviously does not bode well for its survival rate. Using a firearms comparison, it's the AK-47 of the After Colony era, while your protagonists are wielding AA12 shotguns or the Barret M82 anti-material rifle.
for me the most dangerous mobile suit to pilot is the gundam barbatos lupus rex and its super dangerous because the safety limiters were taken off by mikazuli so if you pilot it you will get paralyzed and even taking the surgery can cause you death

The suit was unfortunately hijacked at the end of the One Year War. Not going to spoil anything, but the suit definitely wasn't forgotten post-war.

Some others I think are worth mentioning.
Graze Ein was mentioned in earlier comments. The cockpit is your life support system and you are bound to the suit.
Gaplant had a similar issue as the Tallgeese. The G-Forces would injure or kill anyone that wasn't a Newtype/Cyber-Newtype or Yazan Gable.
The O had a control system that only Scirocco could actually use. If you could even get the thing to move at all, you wouldn't be able to control it.
Should I throw the Death Army variants in here, because it means you're a reanimated corpse?
It's amazing how many of these units passed the design test phase and came to real production.

Like I said on the first upload, I absolutely love the "psycho Zaku" and it was actually my first Gunpla I ever made.
Yeah that's fair, it has it's charm.
If I have to chose in an extremelly dire situation, I'd go Tallgeese or Pale Rider. Tallgeese can be circumvented by what you said and removing the HADES would make not make the Pale Rider any less than a high performance machine.
Technically pale rider have two variant who lake the hades system and still have pretty good hight performance without killing his pilot so yeah i personnaly prefer a pale rider without hades system.
8:10 You become closer to the Fullmetal Alchemist, Edward Elric. Just without the benefit of cool alchemist powers for alterations short of pulling ELS from 00's Anno Domino.

Graze Ein doesn't even get an honorable mention despite being like, twice as bad as the Reuse P Device.
I mean at least with the Reuse P Device outside the MS you could more easily dress as Darth Vader or Edward Elric. Kinda hard to do anything when you can't leave your MS. Maybe just drop him in a Gundam Fight.

The Gaza-C might have found a spot on the list as well. The thing had a habit of just falling apart if you transformed too many times.
To be fair any gundam in the wing series was not made for 'normal pilots' yet alone 'average person' :P Talgeese only manage to go head to head with wing and heavy-arms because it was Zechs using it and after a while Tallgeese was lagging behind Zach's reaction speed. If I would choose 'definitely not use as a normal person from wing it would be wing 0 and epyon since not only the machines were applying same deadly g force but the operating system was causing hallucinations

There is a in-universe dramatization where the 08th MS Team went into space and the Ez-8 got modified to work in space. And seeing as Blue Destiny Unit 2 and 3 were made from Gundam Ground Types, it probably wouldn't take too much to modify them.
Seems kinda weird in that Tallgeese clip the guy says the suit is moving so fast that they can't hit it yet it's moving down in what seems like a straight line.
And most importantly BALLS!
Must be a time delay between the cannons firing and the beam actually reaching the target point.
In short, the beams took to long to get there.
I mean if it kept gaining speed at a rate that the spot there targeting computes were aiming would not be able to account for the insanely high increase in a way that the shells/beams they fired would not be able to be at the location that it aimed at by the time the tall-boy had already passed it.

I would love to see your take on some of the mechs from 40K, just for fun. Some of them can and do give their pilots literal stigmata, and others brainwash you to be more like your grandparents.
The Tau and Eladar's are fairly safe though.
Minor little thing to add to THIS video, just as I did the one with the Devil Gundam. I read Blue Destiny, and it's very nice, but I think that it was never really intended to capture the soul of the Newtype programming it. They never knew, and they assumed that the girl that programmed it was just dead. Theoretically, if it hadn't absorbed her brain, the system would've activated a more controlled combat boost that could be used relatively safely...or become akin to a Zero System, which it was kinda' being already.

You know in specific situations I think the gallus could've been very capable. If they did multiple lines in the chest shoulders and in the wrists/fists I think it would've been deadly against colonies or large ships and even on land
Another honorable mention is the striker custom
Could the Gallus make sense as a high risk stealth unit? No thrusters or large power draws to light up sensors, and if it was a ghost, then it could be a lot more survivable. Have some redundant cables and a detachable deployment/retreat pack for propulsion, and you should be good.

Just how fast can you move that a computer cant track it? They have devices to track and destroy ICBMs today. Which are WAY faster. Also 9Gs isnt the most pilots have done. Pilots in i beloved the post wwii era launched off of short carriers and had to go under like 13 Gs when launching with the help of the carriers catapult.

The Gm Juggler could have been useful as a long range recon unit use the balls as scouts while it took cover in an asteroid field or wreckage to mark enemy units and protect them pilot from the enemy.

I would have chosen the RX 78. Because while Amuro got the most out of this suit, including the guncannon, guntank, and corefighter the RX 78 had some big flaws. First was that the vulcans and potential even its targeting computer weren't aligned properly. The mobility seems to drop while dealing with earths gravity. So while in a simulator you think you can handle this suit, once in the battlefield you find yourself very mistaken. Not to mention the catapult system it's launched with puts the pilot through too much g force and they become disoriented. We see all of these pop up when Sayla takes out the gundam and is nearly killed. Sayla as we later see is just as capable as Ryu, Kia, and Hiato, who get a great deal of performance out of corfighters, the guncannon, and guntank; I feel would have the same issues in the RX 78
Please give us more dangerous MS like the other EXAM using MS or the Unicorn/Banshee Gundam? You could argue that the Gundam Heavyarms was dangerous due to complete ammunition dependancy and lack of back up weapons.

Joke remark, but I'd say the Leo deserves an honorable mention. While it is versatile MS, it's reputation as a "mob suit" obviously does not bode well for its survival rate. Using a firearms comparison, it's the AK-47 of the After Colony era, while your protagonists are wielding AA12 shotguns or the Barret M82 anti-material rifle.

for me the most dangerous mobile suit to pilot is the gundam barbatos lupus rex and its super dangerous because the safety limiters were taken off by mikazuli so if you pilot it you will get paralyzed and even taking the surgery can cause you death
That isn’t nearly as dangerous considering it has safety limiters that Mika intentionally removed.

I also dislike the Gallus's coolant pipe on the chest. If the head's going to have turning capabilities, that pipe's become a huge design flaw and whoever thought it up, should be flayed alive for coming up with such an impractical MS.
In my own opinion i do not consider the Zudah as success, because that would give M'Queve a piece of tech considered slightly usefull.
