I really like and appreciate how detailed you are in your explanation of how to perform the different functions of Calendly. You are a fantastic teacher. Thank you.
@Simpletivity I do have a simple question, where is it on my desktop? I integrated with my Google calendar but I don't see it anywhere. Do I need to login and go to it each time?
As long as you've installed the Calendly extension, you should be able to see this as an option within your browser: calendly.com/integration/calendly-for-chrome
Scott, I've been fighting with Calendly for literally weeks. Now I might actually have a shot at figuring it out. That;s going to make a big difference in my life. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this Calendly tutorial video, Scott. You've explained everything necessary to use Calendly effectively in this video. I'll be recommending your video to my fellow Calendly users :)
Amazing! It's straight to the point, easy to understand and fun to watch. I went from having little to no idea about Calendly to becoming comfortable and familiar with each feature of the amazing app in just 35 mins. Thanks a lot!
Thank you Scott. That was helpful! Question about workflows. Once the meeting is booked, I've set up a workflow email to go to my co-worker so she is aware the meeting is taking place however the email doesn't indicate who I'm meeting with so she's not able to prepare their welcome package. It just says the name of the meeting that was booked. Is there a way to include the name of the person I'm meeting with in an email workflow?
Yes, you can include the name of the person you're meeting with in your Calendly workflow emails by using custom tokens. Here's how to update your workflow email: Edit Your Workflow Email: Go to the Workflows tab in Calendly. Locate the workflow you're using and click Edit. Add Custom Tokens: In the email content, look for the option to insert custom tokens. Use the token for the invitee's name, which is typically {invitee_full_name} or {invitee_first_name}. Save and Test: Save the updated workflow. Test the booking process to ensure the invitee's name appears correctly in the email.
Hi - thanks so much - I need some help in selecting the exact times I want for each day - and then editing them if I can no longer do the time - but I cannot for the life of me work out how I did it - I had blue boxes that I could put on the date with different time slots? This isn't shown in your video as I was hoping for! Help! Thanks!
Thanks for the great video - the best on this subject. A question - in the meeting page, I see "1 host | 0 non-host". Why does it says 0 non-host even though non-hosts have confirmed the meeting. Thanks again.
In Calendly, the "0 non-hosts" indicator on your meeting page typically means that invitees haven't accepted the calendar invitation on their end. Once they accept, this number should update to reflect the actual count of confirmed non-host participants.
This video was great! Felt like I followed the first steps exactly but my event dates/times still do not match my availability. Any troubleshooting ideas!? Thank you in advance!
This is a great video. Thank you for sharing. A quick question - if a host wants to reschedule, it sends the rescheduled time as "confirmed" to the invitee, as opposed to proposed. Are there any options or workarounds, please? thanks.
Currently, when a host reschedules a meeting in Calendly, the new time is automatically confirmed and communicated to the invitee. Calendly doesn't offer a built-in feature to propose alternative times for the invitee to choose from.
What should I do if I want to give clients the option to choose the amount of time they wan't to book for a consulting call? I'm trying to charge a dollar a minute and want to give people the option to book between 15, 30, 45, to 60 minutes and have them choose how much money & time they want to invest
In this case, you would be best to create 4 different event types so you can set the appropriate pricing for each. Remember, your main Calendly screen will show all of your publicly available events so it can be easy for clients to choose (like you see here with mine): calendly.com/simpletivity
I own a Driving School. I need to schedule my students driving test myself, because before I can test them they have to meet certain criteria. Can I make the appointments.
Hi, thank you for the super helpful and clear tutorial. 2 questions: (1) I have multiple iCloud calendars with my husband and kids, which I can easily add to avoid conflicts. However, sometimes I put events in that I'm actually free on and can do meetings during those times (e.g. my husband is taking the kids to a class, I'm available but it's in the calendar just so that I know). Does Calendly take into account the "free" / "busy" / "tentative"... options to know that I'm available if the event is showing as "free"? (2) Do you have any advice on buffers for travel time between in person events? Now that Zoom and in-person are both very relevant options, it's hard to create a one-size-fits-all option for buffers before and after... Thanks!
Best Calendly tutorial on TH-cam. Trust me I have watched too many before I found this one!
Wow, thanks! So glad you found this helpful!

One of my favorite features is the "one time link" through the Calendly chrome extension.
Yes, that is a great feature and easier to access than going into your account all the time. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for this very helpful tutorial! I would have a question. How to make the next 24 hours or the next day unavailable?
Thanks for the great video - the best on this subject. A question - in the meeting page, I see "1 host | 0 non-host". Why does it says 0 non-host even though non-hosts have confirmed the meeting. Thanks again.

I book myself for my direct sales company. Is it possible to book two hostesses at the same time and let them invite their guests?
I own a Driving School. I need to schedule my students driving test myself, because before I can test them they have to meet certain criteria. Can I make the appointments.

I didn't understand the last half of the session
So we have to then share that link with anyone who wants to schedule a meeting!
Thanks!
You are most welcome, Rebecca. Thank you very much!
