Very beautifull, its 15 years ago since my last visit to the Gothardbahn, a lot has changed since, what was modern then is the oldest stock now, like the Re460 with the IC coaches.
But some stock was already old then, like the Re 4/4 I and Re 4/4 II, and the RIC coaches (still trains where you can extend your head out a window!), the ICN and ETR610 where not in service then, the only EMU on the pass was the ETR470 pendolino (or was it the Simpson pass around 2000 where they operated?)
The video is so sharp you can even read all small inscriptions on the trains, even with my screen only being 2160x1440 (about 2/5 of the pixels of 4K), so I just can imagine what it looks like on a UHD screen.

Great video! Now the Gotthard Base Tunnel has opened, will there be less freight running over the Gotthard Pass? Or will this start in December 2016 with the new timetables? I'd like to pay another visit to the Gotthard, and I hope there's still trains running over the pass.

I could read the class BR512 on it, it also had a pantograph, so it must be a hybrid (DEMU) on test (text on the side DB Bahntechnik), but why in Switzerland and than always behind an ICN 500?

it's BR612 901/902 that belong to DB Systemtechnik, the question is why in Switzerland and how it's connected with ICN500
