Fair warning, these can be a pain to get working properly at any sort of reasonable distance. Good luck.

Good tips. Want to add it may be smart to set the JTAC as "Invisible" under "Perform Command" menu (located at the same place as the other menus in this tutorial). This will stop your JTAC to be attacked by enemies.

Yes, sometimes you have to if you cant get it far enough away. And if you are worried about hitting them, maybe also immortal.

You have one of the best TH-cam channels on DCS, I’ve learned so much from you.
    Thank you.

Concise and to the point. Instantly subbed! Thanks for making this!

Would love to see a little more detail with using multiple targets, I usually set a trigger, that when one target is dead, the next is targeted, but is this the best way?

It is a good way of doing it. I like the idea of making each target a trigered action and using the radio menu. I suppose it depends upon the mission.

@@DCSChopsticks do you use the trigger to activate the target? Or is the trigger to switch JTAC target? Randomising the spawn and targeting would be great.

The trigger would chose which JTAC target to switch to, but it would be lots of fiddling about with flags.
Randomising is easy with the JTAC autolase script.

Even with LOS they never seem to work for me unless they are like 50 ft away

I have issues with the JTAC always asking for cannon when my weapon is set to auto, even if there are SAM theeats.

I find the AI struggles most of the time unless you set the weapon type.

You can use the autolase script. Its on the DCS user files.
