Love it mate. Well done.
Oh great you came here
Wow! What program did you use? You should make a tutorial as I have tried to do this but struggle with things like heatshield tiles. Great animation!
Put this in Saturday’s video Marcus (of course if he gives you permission). Your Saturday or I got videos have been a treat, everyone that is covering SpaceX is amazing, but die your content is among the best.
Thx for tweeting this
Excellent work! We can forgive Freddie for the few errors in his song :)
Blessed be this animation
Jesus Christ
Jesus do you believe in elon supremacy right now?
1st to be crucified on Mars, now that would be something...lol
Yes it shall be a prayer for the people that are in the rocket
Jesus?!?!?
Amazing work! Congratulations 🎊
Oh its matt!
Yo what's up matt
Hey Matt! When next video? ;)
Hi
Hello
WOW, this isn't the most accurate but it is the animation I liked the most about the starship's orbital flight, the combination of camera angles and the music were AWESOME
Starship just needs to have a relight after landing and falling over. Destination: Boca. Earth to Earth travel, ship style.
Water surfing add-ons all packed.
Ah yes, from "Starship" to just "Ship"!
@@Mick_92 water ship
Water number 20
I think it will leave the pad a lot faster than this, a LOT faster, almost SRB speedup. Remember, no actual cargo first flight ...
And no reentry burn, it's already ballistic from the get-go
This was most likely made before Elon said the TWR would be 1.5, it makes a lot of sense to think they would throttle down engines to lift off slowly to reduce aerodynamic stress as they did on the high altitude test flights.
I think this is what it would look like in slo-mo... and remember this is what the creator envision the launch to be... didn't you read the disclaiomer the very thing in the animation?
ah ah ah, they will put a wheel of cheese for the "payload"
@@ironagent45 what's TWR?

"my goal is for the channel to hit 1k before the end of the year"
Dude, at this rate, if YT decides it likes you, you're gonna have every SpaceX fan on your channel.
well
he has at least a third of em right now
Now 3x of them.
The music just adds so much to this. Can't wait to see some kicka** music over a real launch!
Starman anyone?
@@tobiasmercader8091 I was so disappointed they didn’t put starman over the Falcon heavy test flight recap video
“ThunderStruck” AC/DC
@@tobiasmercader8091 my only wish is for space oddity to play once the first crewed starship reaches orbit
Greetings binkus
This is sick man, I love it. Great timing with the music on re-entry
♫Burning through the sky♫
@William Manning ♫I'm going to oh oh oh EXPLODE♫ is a bit off though XD
The fact that this was released on the day B4 got all of its engines is just perfect. Nice job bro!
I would just like to say that was all coincidence
@@TheSpaceEngineer of course...
Queen's "Don't Stop Me now" could be the anthem for SpaceX as a whole, not just Starship. So so apt.
Fr
The music choice was great and the only thing that seemed off was the lift off of the booster, it was a tad bit on the slow side, other than that this was an amazing animation
Watch a Saturn V launch. 1.2 TWR vs Starship at 1.5 TWR. Rockets climb slower than you think at lift off, even with full thrust.
@@threehead99 1.2 means 2m/s/s, 1.5 means 5m/s/s which is more than twice as fast as Saturn. Something like 120m height should take roughly 7 seconds to clear the tower depending on launch profile. It was definitely a BIT slow.
@@jasonlast7091 again, the Saturn V took a full 12 seconds to clear the tower, and that was 380 feet. It took 12 seconds to travel 380 feet because of the weight.
Starship has a slightly high TWR, but needs to climb 480 feet to clear just the tower, and thats not counting the additional height for the crane at the top.
The animation is more realistic. Your numbers come from the speed of the rockets after 1st stage separation. That's not take off weight. The TWR increases the longer the burn happens, because it's an increasingly lighter vehicle. This isn't KSP, the rocket will not just clear the tower in 3 seconds like everyone believes.
@@threehead99 The numbers come from thrust to weight that YOU provided which I checked for Saturn V launch profile acceleration/ time graph and it was accurate! What I should have said was rocket height but extra 26m takes less than a second to travel bringing the time to about 7.5s or "roughly 7 seconds" ,
@@jasonlast7091 im being generous in assuming that exactly when the animation switches from ground to side view is when it clears.
That was 20 seconds, give or take. A little slow, yes, but not as slow as people are saying. They assume, and wrongfully, that the thrust alone will make it clear the tower in a couple of seconds, take off weight be damned. Rockets are heavy, and the thrust is only that high to get the initial mass moving.
Wonderful job dude! I'm impressed! 😎👊
"my goal is for the channel to hit 1k before the end of the year" Dude. One week, or less ;) Great job :)
Turns out, less than a day!
You see man? im just: wrote that comment, go to sleep, next i woke up, and bum! 1.3k subs! Congratulations ;)
@@mrrrglllrrr same here
went to sleep with robots having ~670 subs
woke up with 1.5k
jeez
Guys it's 1.66k👌
Aaaand already his most popular video. Man this is getting viral
4:07 I love the attention to detail of having the engines be a little bit on fire after shutdown. I just wish more animators would include the venting that happens all throughout and specially prior to liftoff. The venting can take these animations to a new level.

@@Godisbest4you saw this an hour after it got released! I just wish there was wayyy bigger of a splash when SH falls into the water after soft landing… other than that, its absolutely spectacular.. the music just takes it over the edge for me.
you actually listened to my advice pog
That's just beautiful! Don't sweat the changes to the design. Who can keep up? Just shows what three month's worth of change does to the design. Love the tunes, too. The landing at the end was amazing. The undulating water was so satisfying to see. Great work! I'm a fan.
well goal achieved
I was going to say, the date stamp says video premiered 9 hrs ago and you have 1.14k subs. Blew that goal away. Congrats.
5:00 "I'm burning through the sky...." During reentry? Is spot on and had me laughing. Good job...
3 months of hard work. 80's soundtrack. That's a true labour of love. Subscribed.
dont stop me now was 70s but ok 🤣
Its finally here
Edit: its been 1 year!
Wow.. Such a wonderful animation. Great job. The song spot on. Elons would be proud.
This almost brought me to tears. The song choice and editing is fantastic. And the animation...just wow.
Thank you for every hour you spent on this...and I bet it was many
This is incredible work. Artistic and scientifically accurate. Bravo.
I didn't realize that Starship had such a good sound system. RocKin'! 🤘😎👍
Congratulations man! A wonderful job!
No plankton were harmed in the making of this video. Nice job.
This video makes me smile every time. The excitement before the flip is incredible. One of my favorite videos on TH-cam

Excellent animation, perfect choice of music and music timing was spot on. Well done
Great job! "I'm burnin through the sky, yeah!!!", Love it :D
This was great! Really enjoyed the music. A little bit of Queen, nice touch.
really nice job with the animations and music choice! it really gave the impression of scale just through the movement of it all. also the camera being fixed to the hull made it feel so real!
This is fantastic! Great choice of music, and the addition of iridescent oxide layers at the edges of the steel was beautiful.
The choreography of the music with animation is imppecable! I was so hyped watching this! 🚀
Subscribed! Excellent work, and loved the music choice! Well done!

Wow.
Well Done!
Dude, this is amazing!
Holy cow. Absolutely brilliant.
Absolutely fantastic animation! What a fantastic song to go along with this too. The 80's kid in me is rejoicing. :D
Dude. This was do awesome! I loved the choice of music, the way everything looked, and I love how you could feel the weight as Starship fell down into the water. Awesome job!
I also hope that SpaceX sends a camera close to the splashdown site because I'd love to see the shot of it slowly falling like your video did.
Love it, keep up the great work!
Wow. I like C-Bass's reserved approach the the music, but WOW, was this amazing! The engine effects look good (if a bit orange), the Starship looks good, and you got the grid fin placement correct! This is one of the best Starship animations I've seen!
Wow the music match the events in the video
