I have only been on two trips to Disneyland. 2008 and 2019 and loved it but always grew up going to WDW and have been to Disneyland Paris more than this park but I can't wait to be there again with Jackie and spend time at the original park. It is such a special place and what an experience to be back in on opening day!

Just know I cried watching this. My husband and I decided last minute in February 2020 to go to Sweethearts Night not knowing that would be the last time before they closed. I remember how sad it was when all the cast members were waving goodbye before they closed and how many people lost their jobs last year. So to see them happily welcoming everyone back just touched my heart. I think Walt would be proud. We love you Kitra and Peter!

Being a wdw ap I was soooooooo happy for you guys when Disneyland finally reopened. And yes I cried. I grew up on the west coast and visited Disneyland over 50 times back in the late 70s and 80s...back in its golden yrs. Even though I'm now 5 miles from wdw with an ap, my heart will forever belong to Disneyland and I love watching your videos and you enjoying my favorite park.
I cried the second I saw Cast Members waiving at everyone , saying “Welcome back home”, and being their cheerful selves. I can’t wait for y’all to go to Tokyo Disney. The experience of walking in and seeing Cast Members doing the same there is just as emotional if not 10 times more.
We were planning on just watching till Kitra cried, but then Peter started crying too. My wife and I looked at each other and we both had tears. We are so happy you were able to go on the first official day of reopening and share the day with us. I love the geese feel so safe that they just walk their goslings through the park. We saw duck with ducklings at the Carnation Cafe. A cast member was keeping folks from feeding them and sweeping up food and trash from in front of them.

I almost lost her. So this year I got her and I tickets to the oogie boogie festival plus park hopper. She is going to 100% cry. Then I will cry because she's crying.
